I basically agree. I was trying to think of clever, low risk ways to stop Iran.

If there is a war, we have a variety of winning methods.
My favorite is to cut Iran’s electrical power to zero.
A country without electrical power in the 21st century is not a threat. 
You need electricity to run centrifuges. And to run a nuke program.
 The US military can put the hammer down anytime they are tasked. Our AF and Navy are not as engaged as the Army and Marines. The US has the technology to stop Iran cold.
But as Coldwarrior noted: “Do we have the leadership? ” My thoughts — no.

Israel WILL NOT sit by and let this progress (As they shouldn’t) The world is about the change in a very bad way folks.

Actually,the first time the Twin Towers were hit was on Clinton’s watch.

Along with our embassies and battleships.

9/11 transpired on that date because Atta told Mohammad they were not ready.

The jihadist do take our politics in consideration when they plan attacks and I think that beyond a shadow of a doubt,they feel much better about mounting an attack under Obama than they would have under Bush considering the success he has had in whipping jihadist butt since 9/11.

Hint #1: If you drop a Lira on the ground and step on it to keep a breeze from blowing it away – be ready for a life sentence in a turkish prison. Do not step on anything with Attaurk’s image ever while there.

Hint # 2: If you see a woman – never look at her directly. Never take her pic. Unless you like large crowds beating you.

Hint #3: Remember once you step out of ‘Stanbul or Ankara, you are in the 7th Century were Islamic rules for living and staying alive apply.

Hint #4: If you see a hot chick and she is willing to talk to you, be prepared to be smuggled out of the country – preferably in a coffin. Else you will lose some lower vital parts to a very swift Turkish knife before you are stoned to death.

Surely no one in this or any other country would begrudge the Iranians the means to simply……

What could possibly go wrong?

1. Generally speaking, the donks have only one enemy for all occasions: Republicans.

2. The only way the donks can get behind any kind of assertive foreign policy or military action is if a donk is president; accordingly, the only time when the country has any hope of a unified front against a foreign enemy is if a donk is president.

3. Unfortunately, donk presidents after Harry Truman have been weak on foreign policy and despairingly lousy war presidents.

So … if a Republican is president, he may be better on foreign and defense policy than anyone the donks can come up with; but he’ll be hobbled because the donks will see him as their only enemy.

If a donk is president, then the donks will be able to rationalize supporting the president’s overseas dealings and the Republicans will generally fall in line if there’s a perceived foreign threat; but unfortunately, the donks have an abysmal record since 1952 when it comes to promoting America’s interests as opposed to those of foreigners.

Sorry, but you totally misrepresented my sentiments. In the NORMAL order of things, I do care about the ongoing global jihad against the west and take it very seriously. The problem now, playing games with Iran is like watering your plants as your house burns down around you. That’s how seriously I take what is going on in this country. I know we are not in a bubble but my priorities are here at home.

At this point if Iran is that big of a threat (and yes they are), skip all of the BS and TAKE ACTION! How long have we been playing this diplomatic paddy cakes with the Mullahs? It’s obviously helping them rather than thwarting.
