Do you realize that at the Oscars last year when the did the memorial section they had to leave out Tony Snow, the former press secretary to the POTUS, because they couldn’t count on the folks in Hollywood not to boo. I think the people who have posted here have been pretty mild.

So if his cancer is in remission, why is he going through another round of chemo? They really do think we are idiots.

Remission is not an appropriate term to use here. But if the cancer were not detectable, they’d still be giving him all the chemo he could handle for as long as he could handle it in the hopes of killing off what might still be lurking. It doesn’t have to be visible on a scan to still be present and when it decides to start growing again, it’s like a freight train.

As for who’s an idiot, clearly it’s Harry Reid.

the people i’ve seen suffer thru chemo were mentally debilitated. their mind just wasn’t sharp during & for sometime after the chemo.

if kennedy really does come back to the Senate, i would think he’d have a tough time making off the cuff statements or answering questions at press conferences.

If Kennedy returns to work on socalized health care it probably will be in name only. Harry’s lying more or less says that. His name, sympathy towards him, and his legacy, along favors owed to him, will smooth the way for free socailized medical care for the lower classes and rationed medical care for the rest.
