The Stoning seems like a great flick…perhaps along the lines of Not Without My Daughter?

I’d say much better than NWMD. It has more subtlety, I think, and because of its uncompromising look at the practice of stoning, much more powerful.

The Stoning seems like a great flick...perhaps along the lines of Not Without My Daughter? Of course, it's not surprising at all these days that either they couldn't get a distribution company for the film, or too many theaters wouldn't carry it. All that "religion of peace" reaction to Dutch cartoons, not to mention Girt Wilders Fitna, would scare them away from this.
