Michelle O is by no means a Whoopie Goldberg, but she sure as Hell isn’t a Vanessa Williams either.
Why the left is so consumed by false Idols and false Profits, is way beyond my comprehension. They worship people who look out only for themselves. Sally Quinn “earned” her high position at the Washington Post by sleeping her way to the top. When she first came to the Post, she began an affair with the married-with-children editor, Ben Bradlee, who eventually divorced his wife and married Quinn. But her own sordid past doesn’t stop Quinn from writing columns criticizing other people’s morals and professional ethics. Irony seems to be lost on her.

Just another example of how far journalists have deteriorated. And they wonder why newspapers are on the verge of collapse. If I were editor of a newspaper and this crap came across my desk I’d call in the writer and say “you know what? There are literally thousands of students graduating from college as we speak, many of whom take the field seriously and are anxious and eager to do the work it takes to become a fine reporter. You’ve just given me a reason to let you go and give one of them a shot.”
Instead, this reporter is coddled and makes a complete mockery of journalistic integrity.

Can you imagine what this “reporter” would come up with if given a real assignment, say, the ongoing crisis in the Congo? She not only couldn’t do the research required to explain what is happening over there, her piece on the subject would probably end up with an emphasis on the lack of muscle tone the women over there have as opposed to the first lady’s biceps.

You know this was my point to my earlier posts. There are a lot of women, probably Palin among them who have well toned arms because they have done more physically than dress themselves.
For years those women were not considered feminine. Remember Rosie the Riveter? Now, that we have this elitist view of physical labor there are people making an issue of the fact that the First Lady has arms that are not either fat or toothpicky.
Once upon a time, that was what was called normal.

I find BO’s policies appalling, but I don’t care about Michelle’s looks – some find her attractive, some don’t. She seems to be a good mother to her girls, and that counts for a lot.
That said, the slobbering love affair (Bernie Goldberg’s term) continues to reveal how many truly stupid people reside in this country.
BTW, those of you who envy Michelle’s arms – she has an in-house gym and a personal trainer for daily 90-minute workout sessions. Arrange for that, and you can have those arms too!

Sally Quinn has exposed me! How did she now that I felt so threatened by Michelle Obama’s arms? I’m so furious. This information must not get out. We conservatives must continue our fight to get her to cover those burnished and beautiful arms. Do not wait my fellow conservatives to join me in this crusade!

She doesn’t have the arms of a mother. She has the arms of someone who has a nanny!
If anyone pictures their mom’s arms or their wife’s arms, then they would know that women with small children don’t have the time to work out. My mom started hitting the gym regularly after I was in my teens, but the typical mother(or father for that matter) will not have the time to make a regular exercise routine.
