Ramirez: Dr. Weasel
posted at 6:25 pm on May 8, 2009 by Ed Morrissey
Not to be confused with DocWeasel, whose blog is too NSFW to link, but instead a reference to Dr. Evil of the Austin Powers movies. Michael Ramirez skewers Barack Obama by comparing the pomposity of his announcement that a thorough search of a $3.5 trillion budget only uncovered $17 billion in waste. Somehow, I think Michael’s giving too much credit to Obama’s Number 2:

Who’s Number 2? Can’t be Peter Orszag; he was busily flacking for the monumental achievement Obama accomplished in getting a 0.5% cut in a budget he himself expanded by 12%. Even Wolf Blitzer gently pointed out the absurdity, calling the $17 billion cuts “trims”:
Ramirez has a terrific collection of his works: Everyone Has the Right to My Opinion, which covers the entire breadth of Ramirez’ career, and it gives a fascinating look at political history. Read my review here, and watch my interviews with Ramirez here and here. And don’t forget to check out the entire IBD site, while individual investors still exist.

“I’ll raise spending by one trilliiooonnnnn dollars!”
“Um, Mr. President, a trillion dollars isn’t much money any more. Think bigger.”

That this total incompetent is getting his marching orders from someone else is a given. Since the Democrat Party has extensive ties with Chicago, I’d say the Mob is controlling him through ‘Twinkle Toes’ himself. Why else would this rank amateur be so considerate of Unions?

Michael Ramirez is one of our country’s greatest political cartoonists of all time.

Ramirez is pure genius.

Too bad 98% of the people in this country don’t understand just what 0.5% means.

Dr. Obama:
We’ll hold the world ransom for 1 million dollars!
Or
Dr. Obama to the UN:
If you want the warhead back you’ll have to pay me…1 million dollars!
I remember when 1 million was a lot of money, hell, I remember when 1 billion was a whole lot of money, but now the Obambi administration is dealing in trillions and yet they tout a 17 billion dollar cut from the budget like it’s some major achievement…what a joke, just like Dr. Evil!

Did you see the article with the nude photos of Ramirez? Don’t miss it. Not as bad as the headline claims. Side view, moobs discretely covered. Couldn’t see the brand name, or whether they were Y fronts, but the color did look good on him.
Still though, these photos are a clear violation of the contract he signed with IBD. Why do I wonder why you wingnuts made him your cartoonist when he’s such an obvious hypocrite?
And if you have any doubts, you should read the excerpts from his grandmother’s diary and the transcripts from a couple of the secretly recorded confessions he had with his priest. Scandalous! The things those people did were so vulgar, they weren’t considered appropriate for reading by people under 18. I had to pay to read them at the linked site. Several times.
I for one will be glad when this sorry episode is over for our Party and we never hear from Ramirez again. Then we can feast our eyes on the great works of the Republican Party’s true geniuses of this art form, like Meghan McCain and Arlen Specter.
Until we meet again. Keep tight. And don’t let the red bugs bite.
Oops! forgot the link. Here you go.

More brilliant work from Ramirez. It really is a shame that liberals can find absolutely nothing funny about Mr. Obama. They are leaving the field wide open.
eaglewingz08 on May 8, 2009 at 7:58 PM
Brilliant. But how dare Ramirez criticize Obama? Acorn busloads will be in his driveway soon.

Mr. Ramirez must be ready for the full anal tax audit.

Orszlag, you hilarious, squeaky-voiced little liberal twit. The best you can do is go the the Dept of Education’s Paris junket again? How many employees does the Federal Government have, and the best they can do is keep firing the same patronage skank in Paris over and over again?
Beyond propaganda.
