Everyday, I take a dump. Sometimes twice. There is a certain ritual that is performed in order to complete the task. While some strange individuals may be interested in detailed reports of this activity, those few that may have a legitimate interest are satisfied with the knowledge that the event occurred, and do not need any further data.

This is anlagous to beating the shit out of terrorists, who are known killers and about whom there is no question that they will kill again. While my interest in the details of their beatings is gratuitous, I am satisfied with the simple knowledge that they are in fact, having the shit beat out them.

Usually things are classified by where and who, to protect data from compromise.
What data was being protected? Our techniques?
I can understand classifiying any intell obtained through the program…..but why was the fact that we were employing enhanced interrogation techniques classified?
How was it funded? Through the black budget?
Then a lot people than Nancy Pelosi knew about it.

A truth commission would be best. There are a lot of people on both sides of the aisle that looked away or kept on walking.

When Romney and Hatch were making the case that Mormons run the political spectrum by citing Harry Reid, I looked up Reid’s biography and was struck by the phrase he used describing his adult conversion to that religion.
