The Ed Morrissey Show: Jim Geraghty

posted at 1:00 pm on May 6, 2009 by Ed Morrissey

Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), Jim Geraghty joins me again to discuss the latest in Beltway politics! Jim has the skinny on some local races in Virginia that may have some predictive value for the state as a whole. We’ll also talk about the meaning of the vote that reduced Arlen Specter to junior status and the message it sends to a raft of recipients — and much, much more!

Now you can join the conversation in the chat room! Be sure to register at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.) Jazz Shaw of The Moderate Voice moderates the chat, and he has his Troll Gun Trivia Contest running before the show, for those who get there early — and are registered!

Patriot Act Abused by Obama

White Christian Home Schooled Teen in prison, persona non grata, charged with being a rightwing radical.

A North Carolina single parent Christian home schooled teen was charged with having made a bomb threat from an internet account at home. The FBI searched the home, bound and arrested him, sent him to a juvenile prison in South Bend Ill, and the federal judge put a gag order on his case so that no details are available, except that there were no bomb making materials found in the home, and the mother said that the internet address had been hijacked. The boys mother is denied access. She’s asked her legislators for help, but is told that there is nothing she can do.

Innocent until proven guilty.
Habeus Corpus.
