Senator wanted to have his cake and eat it too. He does not realize that the Democrats do not want to share their cake with anyone, mean ANYONE.

He will try and play – ‘I voted for the porkulus’ card in his reelection as a Demo but will find Democrats do not want to share their cake even at the state level.

This is indicative of what we can expect more and more of in the future. Why on earth would a man’s(Reid)word be of of any worth in a deal in say,committee chairs, when Obama has shown us in the Chrysler deal that signed written contracts of ownership are meaningless.

This administration has knowingly pulled on the string that will unravel our society. Our capitalist society, based on rights of ownership and property. How can anyone be sure of what they own anymore?

You may have noticed that Obama now own’s Chrysler & GM where alot us work, keep in mind in the banking realm he now also own’s most of our homes. If he through his policies can now dictate what auto makers comply with in his plants, upon what legal basis can you argue your rights in your/his home?

Where and when does this stop? And for that matter why would it? If precedent has been set with his justification of this, what cannot now be justified?

Not to be ageist, but 80 years should really be the cut off for Senators. And not just on the Democrat side. It was embarrassing when South Carolina continued to re-elect Strom Thurmond when it was clear he was out of it. Arlen should be annoying his children in retirement. He does have children, doesn’t he?
