Glenn Beck kicks ACORN spokesman off the set for accusing him of racism

It happened during a commercial break but there’s no reason to doubt Beck’s telling the truth. The last time this tool was on, Megyn Kelly had to cut his mike to be able to speak over him. In fact, every time he’s on Fox, it turns into a trainwreck of filibustering and guests talking over each other. I understand why they continue to book him — angering the host is great for ratings — but why, given his astounding Edwards-esque unctuousness, does ACORN continue to send him as their rep? It’s practically an exercise in self-sabotage. I’m sitting here numb with horror at the possibility that he might be the most likable guy they have.
I split the clip in two. If you want the full interview, watch both. If all you want is Beck’s indignation at being accused of racial phobia, stick with number two.

I got bored after about 3 minutes, but this Acorn spokesman was 100 percent more tolerable than he was on previous interviews on FoxNews. Seriously, he’s toned it down. Before he was non-stop filibuster, not letting the host even talk.
Previous clips of him are much worse.

That is the analogy…naturally ACORN is going to say they are innocent. Everyone says they are innocent, until they are proven guilty…but the pattern suggests, and the assumption has to be, that you don’t catch everyone.

…the ACORN guy is a walking talking slam-dunk in the argument the right has been making against ACORN for years…the guy I watched gleefully was as cuddly as a cactus, as fair as a union delegate, and as honorable as a tort lawyer. I’m surprised that he hasn’t been offered a cabinet post, at the very least.
…even the tone of his voice, let alone his tactics, evasions (I only watched for about 45 seconds and heard four or five misdirections), and plain disrespectful manner was enough to send the Dalai Lama into a rage, and see him chasing this walking pustule out of his temple with a broom.
They should drop the “reform” and change the name of the organization: “Association of Community Activists Now” (or “Nationally”)…so’s you can abbreviate their name to “A CON”…that’d be most apt….

Finally. He’s actually been pretty kind to Barry on a number of occasions. BOR said that we didn’t know for sure that the $6 billion would necessarily go to ACORN. This was a few weeks back, in a segment with Coulter. As though Barry would reward some other volunteer group. (And why the hell do we pay for volunteers, anyway? Especially ones with hard-core political agendas.)

The other day Glenn brought up something I hadn’t thought about, but it ties in here too (as it does SEVERAL other places–i.e. the banks). He said that the UAW gave the Democrats $1 BILLION in campaign financing in the last election cycle. At the time he made a big point of it and then kind of dropped it, but I don’t think it should be dropped.
Think about it:
Government pours billions of tax dollars into Chrysler & GM. Then gives the UAW shareholder stakes, so they will make more money, not just the money they earn by working but the profits of the company. Then they turn around and give the Obama campaign a cool BILLION. Nice.
Well, wouldn’t that work over *here* too… The government gives the banks BILLIONS of dollars to “capitalize” them. Then the government takes them over. My question, how much did these banks fork over in campaign donations in 2008? Does anyone know? And in looking at which banks were “allowed to fail,” did that decision have anything to do with which ones supported the Obama side?
And then there’s AIG, again, billions in bailout money (OUR tax dollars). Did they donate to Obama?
Now they are talking health care?
Does anyone see a pattern here?
