If the Chinese were to unload their dollars precipitously, it would cause the rest of the world’s hard dollars (those actual dollar bills in the Middle East and Asia stuffed in mattresses) to likewise be unloaded onto the market. We would wake up with our dollar being worth perhaps a tenth or less of what it was worth the day before. China has already decided to reduce or eliminate its purchases of US Treasury debt; flooding the market with their dollar reserves is just the next step.

The entire lead toy paint thing can be easily explained away. Ya see, Chinese factory supervisors don’t use paperwork, it’s all verbal. So one day Hasbro and Mattel phone in some orders for toys painted with RED PAINT. But since Mandarin speakers routinely mix up their R’s for L’s, it became “Hey, Hua Guo Feng! Use LED PAINT on those ten thousand units of toys! And I’m out of smokes. Go out and buy me a carton of Progressive Workers Revolution cigarettes, willya?”

Oh, shadowing our ships during exercises in international or sovereign waters, occasionally shooting at us in Int. waters without justification, illegally seizing various ships under our protection, the list goes on.

I think the Japanese already have some nukes …….. just like Israel. One troubling thought is that China does have a great imbalance in the sexes due their one child policy. They have some 50 million more men than women. This has to lead to some social problems in China.

The solution to a chinese build up is to build up the japanese, australians, south koreans, and indians.

improved local fleets added to existing US assets should be more then capable but these countries need to join the exercise and become competent at acting as our auxiliaries and proxies. We all share a common interest in a contained china.

Before our lives are done, there will be a war between China and the US. That clash is inevitable. China wishes to dominate the world, and the only thing standing in their way is the US. They trade with us only to get our money to finance their empire. Once they have finally acquired the resources needed to strike, they will. This is the beginning of the final countdown.

Exclusive Economic Zones were defined under UN’s Convention on the Law of the Sea in 1982.
