Yeah, 400 is not a good number.

This would make a good contest at a Savage Convention, filled with contrarians:

A 400 reading? For anyone who knows about proper nutrient should know that that is dangerous. Quite dangerous. And, yes, it was 400. That’s what stuck out to me. I listened to it live that night, the podcast the next day or two, and a “best of”, simply because it seemed so odd.

Your paranoia statement, though, I agree with. And I’ll give him credit for being correct, as you’ve said. He’s quite intelligent. And that’s why I listen to him and respect him. No one’s perfect–everyone has their flaws–and when you can parse through the faults to see the treasure, you can learn a lot.

Re-read what I wrote. I saw it that morning. Not 3 days later. That morning. No, as far as I know, he hasn’t been interviewed, but it was part of the morning headlines.

Incidentally, looks like O’Reilly is also asking the question I asked earlier. What Would Doc Savage Do? …nah, I’m chalking it up to the obvious, and asking the same question that I’m sure many others are.

I listened to his podcast the day after his reaction to this. He accused Fox of not reporting this. Funny thing is, 8AM Pacific time, I first found out about this…….on the Fox News Network.

Problem with that is Fox News didn’t really report it for 3 days when CNN and BBC actually reported it on that day with an interview with Savage from both. I’m sure they must have gotten some feed back from viewers on it.

As I said before, I follow him, and I like him. I agree with many of his views. However, I do find him falling into hyperboles and paranoia all too often. And this is a perfect example [...]
A caller complained that listening to Savage raised his blood pressure, and, thus, his glucose levels (which is true). When asked what his average is, the caller said, flatly, “400.”

On the paranoia thing, I like it when he does this because it taught me something. Savage is a very intelligent thinker, and while it’s unhealthy to get bound in conspiracy theory, it doesn’t hurt to let the mind wander and toy with odd ideas. He’s been right about things that happened months later, if not totally precise.

He’ll claim to coin phrases that, honestly, I’ve heard before him even uttering. Rush will quote a phrase, then, weeks later, Savage joke about it as he “just made it up”, then complain how “the Golfer” stole that from him. I can go on and on. If you’re a listener, I would suggest taking his “I’m all alone in this!” words with a grain of salt. When everyone in the world seems to be wrong but you, maybe you should consider that, hey, maybe it’s not that everyone else is wrong. When he goes on about Fox, I’m wondering just what kind of aluminum foil he wraps his head with. You’re Independent. Got it. Stop overplaying that card.

…On a tangent (like I’m not already on one), along those lines, I also question his background as a nutritionist. I’m not sure how many of you would remember this, but as a diabetic, there was a caller that stuck out to me, and one that was difficult for me to shrug off. For those of you who are not diabetic, and don’t have to closely monitor your readings, “400″ is pretty much synonymous with “go see a doctor before you fall into a coma.”

How did Dr. Savage react? “Okay, do you have your meter near you? I’m going to play this, and tell me how much higher your readings go.” Why not just ask him to drink a soda and eat some candy while you’re at it?

I guess this explains why you don’t deport or deny entry to islamic terrorists — you really want them in your country. So, when the next 7/7 happens, and it will, I’ll be chuckling and thinking of you.

Really? Because we are always being told that we can’t deny entry to a gazillion illegal mexicans. And one of the reasons the UK pols cited against Savage is that he urged people to burn Mexican flags in retaliation to people burning American flags who were demonstrating in support of immigration. BZZZZZZZZZZZ! Catch the big lie, there? They were demonstrating for illegal immigration — no one opposes legal immigration.

Anyway, screw you limeys. And the raising of money for the IRA and allowing Sein Fein entry was done by the lousy democrats — not conservatives, so piss on them and piss on you!

I follow Michael Savage. Anyone who thinks he advocates violence is someone who clearly doesn’t think. Agree or disagree with him, his words, or his personality, the last thing he ever has done is advocate violence of any sort.

Question: Where is Janeane Garofalo on this list? She spewed more hate in her minute-long rant on Olby’s show than Savage has in the last decade of airtime. Oh…right…that’s tolerated/accepted hate-speech. My bad.

It has to cover a wide spectrum to be effective.

He’s not suing because of America’s free speech. The was un perturbed that he was banned. Then he found out who else was on the list. That’s when he decided to sue. There are anti-defamation laws that Dr Savage is suing under. He’s already getting great responses from anti-defamation lawyers in England.

You, as a citizen of one sovereign state,cannot claim that your first amendment rights gives you the ability to enter another country at will,regardless of why they decided to do so.

Anyway ,for years the U.S granted visa’s to I.R.A/Sinn Fein
members to fund raise against the wishes of our government and citizens.

I think when AllahPundit says something is “obligatory,” it’s a signal that he doesn’t like the person it’s about.

He’s been called on this before. His mealy mouth excuse is that when he gets so many emails asking him to post a story it is then “obligatory.” It’s bad enough that he is condescending to HA readers, but on top of it he insults everyone’s intelligence with this made up excuse.
