Remember Detroit Congressman Diggs? He was censured by his peers (ha) in congress and prosecuted for taking kickbacks from his staff in order to keep their jobs. The people in his district re-elected him AFTER all that. PA is the same way. Murtha could murder a puppy live on CNN and they would still re-elect him. On the bright side since going for Obama and Murtha in the election they will find the coal industry is doomed and they voted for change to a new job. Good luck with that!

I’ll say it again, I fear that our only recourse is some sort of insurgency. Another American Revolution if you will.

The tea parties are a start. But it seems that (with few exceptions) Washington has not gotten the message. It’s obvious that the primary function of our federal government is to dole out favors and big $$$$ to the well-connected. 98% of what they ~~spend~~ waste our tax dollars on is unconstitutional.

It’s called intellectual laziness. The sheeple don’t care about what’s really going on, as long as the TV is on and feeding them their daily dose of crap.

As long as people believe that Jon Stewart’s show is a legitimate source of news (and yes, I have had people tell me that with a straight face), this is what we will get.

With these stupid people thinking it’s their “duty” to cast uninformed votes and elect scoundrels like Murtha and Obama, I fear that change will only come through another American revolution.
