The best part of fluffy garbage like this is that the media knows they’re going to be mocked relentlessly for it by the right — and they simply don’t care. So tingly are they over the second coming of Camelot that not only are they in the tank, they’re downright proud to be there. It really is like a romance: Sure, they’re acting moony and goofy, but damn it, they’re in love. How else to explain an otherwise sober reporter from the New York Times thinking it’d be a good idea to stand up at a nationally televised press conference and ask Obama how enchanted he feels?
I’m not sure how much dumber and gooier it can get. Maybe Bo will start himself a family with a good-looking poodle and our new president will heroically help deliver the litter. I can almost see the photo of him grinning, six new puppies in his arms, with various reporters making the “awwww” face just over his shoulder.

If the antics of AbuGhraib don’t strike you as inconsistent with the pains the administration took to to set the perimeters of enhanced interrogation tactics as released by the Mr. Obama, then it is safe to say you see what you want to see. Strangelet is just very much uninformed. The truth is waterboarding is still carried out in SERE training, which makes one wonder if it is illegal or not.

For instance, remember when the left went bonkers over the supposed outing of Valerie Plame? Well now they themselves have outed all sorts of CIA operatives and that is just okay fine. If they die, they die. It is not as if they actually care about this sort of thing.
And as we all know Obama has expanded rendition which means no doubt he is sanctioning from a long distance all sorts of interrogation techniques, but what strangelet does not know won’t hurt her. She could care less in reality what happens to any of these people. She is just a partisan out for blood.
The next part of this little melodrama will of course be the pics and no doubt strangelet is hoping for all sorts of death and mayhem to accompany all of that, it will be far more helpful to her and her kind.
Not to mention the hopes that some law suit brought over Abu Ghraib might further damage her country. All is fair doncha know.
Even now as we speak Obama has the advisory panel working on just how many harsh interrogation practices can be reintroduced into the CIA, you know they will be.
In truth the vast majority of the people questioned do not need the harsh interrogation techniques and they have only been used with a minority of prisoners. Water boarding has only been used with three prisoners.
But strangelet is hoping for censure, upheaval and all kinds of fun stuff, I think she will be disppointed.
