taking shots at those that have the right to free assembly and take a deaf ear to those that ask for his leadership and to be heard and this bozo has the audacity to make fun of American citizens that disagree with his policy is just plain wrong.

He has no respect for Americans.

Did somewhere along the line, this man—cough-cough— forget that he was the President of ALL Americans??? Not just the selct few???

With Specter and Franken giving 60 seats in the senate, it is going to be really painful to watch government ignore the conservatives as a result of the GOP’s political impotence. Protest and teabag all you want, but your leaders aren’t listening to you and they do not care what you think. A different group is driving the bus now, and you are simply along for the ride. No backseat driving requested nor accepted.

Able to leap, and trounce on private industry, and tax payers, like he was the champion leap frogger.

Faster than a speeding bullet, and destroying anything, he gets his hands on.

Despite their protestations to the contrary, I think that the Washington crowd is beginning to understand that the “tea parties” are NOT a Republicans-only event. Ours was well-attended by Democrats, Libertarians, and self-described “Independents”. The only estimate I’ve seen of the percentage of attendees who were not Republicans was 25%: that would put the number of non-Republicans at 2500 just for the one tea party I attended. Nobody rounded them up: they heard about the tea party and wanted to come on their own.

I hope Washington DC crowd’s fear of tea parties spreads faster than the swine flu. They have reason to fear for their jobs in retribution for their profligate waste and obscene spending of our national treasure for generations to come. Its time our elected/selected economic morons in DC learned that it’s NOT “Government on the People”, it’s “Government OF the People!!”

Amen! Obama’s dismissive reference to “waving around teabags” is an attempt to trivialize what happened on April 15, and to trivialize the REASONS why so many people assembled on that date.

He says Porkulus is a “small part of the problem.” Is there anything at all about Porkulus that is “small”?!?!? (Other than to describe the minds of all who drafted it and voted in favor of it?) For anyone to use that word to describe that monstrosity, which itself stands to put us in generational debt, defies imagination. The guy is completely out of touch with fiscal realities.

It is beyond sad to see the president openly and deliberately drive another wedge between two news organizations, CNN and FoxNews, for the purpose of promoting his own popularity….

Sorry, my bad. He didn’t single out CNN. I was influenced in my response by the fact that this was a CNN clip. He suggested FoxNews indirectly and set them against others. Still, the comment was meant to alienate a specific news organization.
