Sadly, Aaron Klein has a history of making stories up–like the FOX News paying ransom story he had to backtrack from–and plagiarizing the rest, as he has made a career of ripping off Israeli newspapers (something well known to Israelis, but apparently not to you, Ed), my site (here and here, among others), and other sites (including Bizzy Blog and Sweetness and Light) for his “exclusives”. He also has a history of inventing stories and pretending to be someone else to create stories that didn’t exist. More here. Glad to see he’s no longer pushing the “I’m an Orthodox Jew” marketing claim after he got exposed as a fraud in that category, too.

I hope He does and all, but on what specifically do you base this notion? Hal Lindsey said in The Late Great Planet Earth that 1/3 of Israelis will be killed in a war. Isn’t he an anti-Semite for writing such nonsense?

Prophecy is fun. If you missed the timing you can always alter your prophetic vision to fit the facts at the moment or as they unfold.

If you have an agenda, you can prophecy accordingly.

Thank you for the enlightenment -it would seem that your politics is more complicated than most people have to endure. I must admit, i thought the recent swing was more to do with the failure of the attack on Hezbollah, than anything else.

This is reflected in the massive showing of the right wing in this recent election, where even left of center voters voted for the center right precisely because of the security challenges facing us.

I like Aaron Klein very much, he does minimize here from this exceprt the awareness of the people of Israel as to the situation.. We have been preparing for over 5-6 years now, we did engage Hezbollah for this reason, we did engage Gaza for this reason, we did bomb the nuclear facility in Syria, we are prepared to engage Iran (this is a last resort measure). It is very much eyes open here, Aaron needs to please keep in mind that we are a small nation, facing multiple enemies of the worst sort, with nary a voice of support internationally, constantly demonized when we act or even if we don’t.

We have been ramping & preparing for these challenges with full awareness, it must be said these things take time. The US which dwarfs Israel ramped for nearly a year before Iraq & to face certain challenges, this is just a reality..

Sorry for the long post, we are prearing here for our independence day celebrations, there is great spirit here, Israel is strong and we will prevail over the hordes!

Yes, skin color is not the sole determinant of race. East Indians are mainly Aryan, for instance, though many of them are quite dark. Hair texture, facial bone structure and other things besides melanin content define race.

In the Old Testament, Ethiopia is Cush/black. The People of that region were considered by the Greeks , and others, to be white people with black faces because they do have similar facial features to caucasians. I believe that the Egyptians also had the same view.

My point is that the word is yet another code.

Even still, for Olmert to have continued on as PM as long as he did was ludicrous. When a government’s policies have been wholly discredited they should lose support in the Knesset, or at the very least the PM resigns. That’s the way a parliamentary system is supposed to work.
