Obama has a problem. Pakistan has 10X’s the strategic value of Afghanistan yet he is beefing up our forces there.

Everyone on the planet knows he won’t go into Pakistan in force. We don’t have the proper head count or political will.

The result is the Taliban get in Pakistan what they could not gain in Afghanistan, a Sharia state. From this new base the Taliban and Al Queda can keep us busy with cross border incursion for decades.

I don’t want any more American men and women to die trying to save these cave men from themselves. It may not be a popular sentiment but I say bring our men and women home.

For better or for worse as bad as Bush’s invasion of Iraq was we could have used the line of thought on Afghanistan and we would have been golden.

If Bush would have stuck in Afghanistan and built it into the middle Eastern version of Japan these problems would have been wiped out. Once the modern version of Afghanistan was completed and everyone in the immediate area saw the progress that a truly westernized version of Afghanistan come to light all of the other countries would have immediately started to erode from within.

Talk about faulty logic… A good 90% of Afghan villagers are illiterate.. Women die at childbirth at a rate of about 1,600/ 100,000 live births. The infant mortality rate is the second highest in the world. Most remote villages don’t have access to health care. Most of the country relies on UN food aid to survive. The country is landlocked and doesn’t have any major natural resources (i.e. oil). How is such a country going to become Japan in five years? At least Iraq has an educated middle class and a major source of natural wealth.

They are just a scourge on humanity. I am surprised why people would ever want to be ruled by them. From what I hear, the average person in those regions, owns a gun, so if they wanted to revolt against Taliban, it would seem like an achievable thing.

I guess the men with the guns were somehow victimized by this couple.

The U.N. has turned into a mouthpiece for the OIC. It’s time to dismantle the U.N.

Actually, it’s not that simple.

(1) There is hardly any overlap between the products sold between India (primarily software and IT provider + some R&D in VLSI) and China (manufacturer of cheap goods).

(2) India is a large market for the Chinese as far as cheap manufactured goods is concerned. I have been to India recently for business reasons, and I could not believe how much their new supermarkets have been flooded by “Made in China” products.

So, I would not quite buy that argument…

Ugh. I hate when they edit the “bad” stuff. Folks, wake up and smell the coffee- these people and their “culture,” they’re a disease. One of the worst diseases ever to be infected upon the world. I’ll get flack for this, but this is the inherent nature of a religion founded by a mass murdering madman who had numerous wives and a child bride.

The bad stuff shouldn’t be censored. It should be required vviewing around the world. We can’t fully realize the enemy and how barbaric he is by editing his evildoing. Let not these brutal crimes go unseen.
