I just gave the max ... $150.00

I hope that Rush mentions it on Monday - doubtful that she'll make an appearance on Rush. I think there is a whole segment that Rush can do on her tormentors. She's being nickle/dimed to death.

Sarah writing today in the New York Post:

17. SARAH PALIN ON: "I WON" AND THE DEATH OF BIPARTISANSHIP

"Obama soared to victory on the hopeful promise of a new era of bipartisanship. During his inaugural address he even promised an 'end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn-out dogmas, that for far too long have strangled our politics.'

"Too bad it took all of three days for the promise to ring hollow.

"Start with Obama's big meeting with top congressional leaders on his signature legislation -- the stimulus -- on the Friday after his inauguration. Listening to Republican concerns about overspending was a nice gesture -- until he shut down any hopes of real dialogue by crassly telling Republican leaders: 'I won.' Even the White House's leaking of the comment was a slap at the Republican leadership, who'd expected Obama to adhere to the custom of keeping private meetings with congressional leadership, well, private.

"It's only gone downhill from there. The stimulus included zero Republican recommendations, and failed to get a single House Republican vote.

"It's not just the tactic of using Republicans for bipartisan photo-ops, and then cutting them loose before partisan decisions, that irks Obama's opponents. The new president wasted no time rushing forward with policies and legislation guaranteed to drive Republicans nuts. The first bill he signed into law was the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act -- a partisan hot-button that drew all of eight Republican supporters in the entire Congress. Then there was the swift reversal of Bush policies on abortion and embryonic-stem-cell research -- issues dear to the Republican base.

"And when Obama and the Democrats in Congress took up SCHIP -- the children's health-insurance bill that Republicans say vastly expands government's role in health care -- they had an easy chance for real bipartisanship. After all, the bill had been hashed out in the previous Congress, and a bipartisan accord was reached before President Bush responded with a veto. Did the Obama team push for the compromise version in the 111th Congress? Nope. They went back to the drawing board, ramming through the Democrats' dream version.

"Of course, the lack of bipartisanship isn't limited to Capitol Hill. Obama has taken gratuitous swipes at the Republicans who recently decamped Washington, blaming President Bush for everything from the economy and the war to the lack of sufficient puppies and rainbows. And who could forget the Rush Limbaugh flap -- in which Obama's top advisers, including chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, orchestrated a public relations campaign meant to undermine the Republican National Committee chairman, Michael Steele, by framing talk-radio personality Limbaugh as the real head of the Republican Party.

"For now, Obama's back-pedal on the bipartisanship promise just makes him look insincere. But the real consequences of the mistake will be felt soon enough. As Presidents Bush and Clinton could tell him, congressional majorities do change -- and at some point, Obama will need Republicans on his side. He'd be smart to spend his second 100 days making up for the serious snubs of his first."

Just what is it about the term “legal defense fund” that you don’t understand? Yes, when you are the victim of political witchhunts and malicious harassment as Sarah is it does cost a lot of money to fight back. That is the nature of our justice system.

sarahpalinfan99 on April 25, 2009 at 12:14 AM
Our justice system? These are ethic complaints not lawsuits. She didn't need a lawyer at all. The only reason she hired a lawyer was to protect her image. So you got to ask yourself, what did she get for a half a million dollars?

Our justice system? These are ethic complaints not lawsuits. She didn’t need a lawyer at all. The only reason she hired a lawyer was to protect her image. So you got to ask yourself, what did she get for a half a million dollars?

I use sports analogies a lot which keep me objective.

Dumping Donatelli now is like Tiger Woods dumping Butch Harmon because they did not see eye to eye on philosophy, goals or results.

And remember we are still only 7 minutes into the first quarter of a 4 quarter football game in the terms of the next election cycle. If you are going to make changes this is the time to do it.

Cutting loose a tie to the Beltway? I don’t know if this 2012 thing is happening, kids.

When that "tie" was a former consultant for McCain's disastrous 2008 campaign, I'd say Sarah is definitely making moves to position herself for 2012. This consultant unfortunately was not making the grade so SarahPac is bringing in new people.

Better to make changes now than to wait too long like Hillary Clinton did when she ran. That was among the many nails in Hillary's coffin - all her major staff shake-ups during the primaries.

Anyone else having that problem? I can always snail mail it, but it seems so primitive that way.

I had to change my street address, spelling out South instead of S. After that, it took it. Seemed strange, but the end result is worth it to keep trying.

You guys are absolutely freak’n nuts. You’re giving money to a politician to give to a lawyer.
Think about that.

I tried to donate online, and it says my first name is invalid. Excuse me, but I think my name is perfectly ok.

I had a similar problem at first with my name and address but my online donation went through fine after a couple of tries. I guess there are some bugs in their new system.

Maybe they don't want donations from "Mickey Mouse" and "Daffy Duck" like some other politicians we know!;D

Does she ever say why? I get the she's dumb, inexperienced, want to ban books and so on and so on and so on...I literally have links to everything that debunks that and multiple sources... If I weren't making headway I would say Palin didn't have a chance but, I have been so, there is hope...we just have to fight the misinformation campaigns against her. I'm willing to do that.

CCRWM....my brother-in-law's girlfriend works for the Federal Reserve. She is the worst when it comes to the topic of Sarah Palin. I think I might use your line the next time I see her and we get into a political discussion with her, because I will.

I agree and I think she will do very well. My dream is a televised debate between her and BO. She can slice and dice that man-boy with a wink and a smile.
