The Ed Morrissey Show: Duane “Generalissimo” Patterson and the Week in Review!
posted at 1:00 pm on April 24, 2009 by Ed Morrissey
Today, on the Ed Morrissey Show (3 pm ET), we’ll take a look at the past week with Duane “Generalissimo” Patterson of the Hugh Hewitt Show. Duane and I will discuss the backfire over Obama’s flip-flop on torture investigations, and his reversal yesterday once again. Did Barney Frank really oppose home ownership all along? Did Shep get a letter from the FCC? All of this and much more — and stay tuned for a preview of tonight’s Hugh Hewitt Show.
We’re also holding a fundraising drive for Twin Cities Marriage Encounter. I’ll be posting PayPal buttons for one-time and automatic monthly donations to this non-profit, which tries to build stronger communities by strengthening marriages, on my show posts until the end of the year. We now have a matching challenge!. If we can raise $1500 by January 15th, an anonymous Hot Air reader will match those funds himself. Donations are tax deductible! Please note The Ed Morrissey Show or Hot Air on the memo line so that we can keep track for the match challenge:
Now you can join the conversation in the chat room! Be sure to register at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.) Lady Logician of True North moderates the chat, and she has the Troll Gun Trivia Contest running before the show, for those who get there early — and are registered!

So, IF the detainees were told (like I have heard they were told) that they weren’t going to die, then you would agree, Ed, that what the CIA did was not torture?
