Quotes of the day

“If we have another 2,000 people killed, I want Nancy Pelosi and [liberal philanthropist] George Soros, John Conyers and Pat Leahy to go to the funeral and say, ‘Your son was vaporized because we didn’t want to dump some guy’s head under water for 30 seconds.’”

***
“Mr. Obama may think he can soar above all of this, but he’ll soon learn otherwise. The Beltway’s political energy will focus more on the spectacle of revenge, and less on his agenda. The CIA will have its reputation smeared, and its agents second-guessing themselves. And if there is another terror attack against Americans, Mr. Obama will have set himself up for the argument that his campaign against the Bush policies are partly to blame.”

***
“At the White House, Press Secretary Adam Brickley said that President Sarah Palin stands firmly behind the decision. ‘It’s not as if we relish the thought of prosecuting members of the previous administration,’ Brickley said, ‘but, at this point, there is a clearly established precedent – set in place by the Obama Administration themselves – which says that government officials must be held accountable if they contributed in any way to major breaches of the law. In this case, the individuals under investigation do appear to have purposefully allowed these terrorists to continue their actions – prioritizing international public opinion over the lives of the American people. So, while this may be a politically charged issue, there is a real need to prosecute.’”

True_King:

That is crap. Your liberty was not in danger because some freaking terrorist was nabbed in Pakistan and brought to Gitmo and questioned.

This is all an Alinsky tactic on part of the administration; they have no intentions of investigating the Bush administration. This is all a political ploy. I never thought that my respect for these people could get any lower.
We will get attacked again. Sad thing is, it might happen under the next president since these things take so much time to coordinate and we are still enjoyed the fruits of the Bush security.
God is just and what these people are doing will be judged and dealt with.

…and we are still enjoyinged the fruits…

If I were to get ill and the only treatment for me was derived from embryonic stems, I could refuse treatment. It would be pitting my beliefs against my outcome. Mr. Obama is tying his hands and the hands of those who come after him based totally on political machinations instead of what is best for the country. There have been and will forever be mistakes made. Presidents have made the best decisions based on the information they have at the time, to later prosecute them is folly. Anytime time you change the rules in the middle of the game no one wins.

Good morning. Except I’m not very cheerful, so excuse me.

I’m thinking that Obama’s decision has nothing to do with morality or ethics, as your’s would but everything to do with politics. As with the DHS report, this is all about criminalizing the opposition.

We shouldn’t have free speech on college campuses, because when we speak, it’s hate speech. We shouldn’t have freedom of assembly to protest at Tea Parties, because whenever we assemble, we only assemble as racists who hate a black man. We shouldn’t have freedom of religion because we are misogynists who oppose a woman’s right to choose and homophobes who oppose Gay Marriage.

For most liberals, it would be enough for us to simply be silenced and submissive. But for the most extreme leftists, we must be criminalized for our thoughts, arrested, tried and imprisoned.

Well, take me now. No need for a trial. I confess.

Keep the focus on the Bush administration and you don’t have to explain your own actions. Also, you will be setting up the scapegoat for when we are attacked again. The problem with this strategy is that you rely on the MSM to stay in your corner through it all. Up to now, that has been a winning strategy for Ogabe. It is yet to be seen if the fellating media will stay on their knees.

Man, why do our friends who don’t like waterboarding here, keep blabbing on about the “geneva” conventions?

These people aren’t uniformed. They are illegal, asymmetrical combatants.

I heard Patrick Leahy the other day saying “no one” in Washington
is above the law. LMAO

Has anyone compiled a complete list of Democrats that could
fall under this premise that Leahy has layed out? They certainly
would lose some seats with all being “fair”.

Big difference between “National Security” and
someones “personal interest, power and greed”.

The silent majority will be heard from next election cycle.

Good morning to you also. I agree, everything Pres. Obama does is about politics and he better kick into leader gear. If he even knows what that is. The Left has become great big giant bullies and as we all know bullies don’t stop until you prove your not going to put up with it. It’s like that half-a$$ Right-winged domestic terrorist “report”. Considering the lack of specificity and the timing of the release it was strictly a shot at the tea party attendees. It would be interesting to know how many actually stayed home because they thought they might be “profiled”. Please, let me wear a name tag to help them out.

Nerf show trials by Nerf Stalinists. Coming soon: Nerf gulag.

Obama is concerned with torturing the American citizen financially who is a Christian or military veteran more than a terrorist who would cut your head off if you don’t submit to islam!!. Think abot that on the “LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD”.

We are at the biblical end times: right is wrong and wrong is right.

As Colin Powel stated on Iraq: you break it, you buy it. Obama clearly owns this economy, world situation and the war on terror whether he likes it or not.

Lets not forget Jamie Gorelik. I’m hearing calls for a truth commission manned by venal leftist hacks like her. She’s at the root of the original problem trying to cover clenus’s chinese funds ass.
