You’ve got to be kidding! Pelosi claims that they only told her about the wire tap yet she simultaneously tells us that she didn’t even know if “what they were talking about” was real. How, precisely do those two sentences put together make sense?

Pelosi is sitting on an incendiary political grenade which just happens to explode in the face of her nemesis, Jane Harman, at the very moment torture memos are being released. Harman also just happens to be someone who is not only able, but likely willing, to confirm that House leadership not only knew all about the interrogations at issue, but approved them. Then what do you know — selective leaks about a four year old conversation, clearly designed to destroy Harman’s credibility, suddenly come out of nowhere.

Cui bono, Ed? Between Pelosi and a Justice Dept struggling with a bum case against the AIPAC duo, I’m going with Pelosi.

Explaining what happened. Wilson lied about the trip, Wilson lied about the yellow cake. Then Wilson cries foul. Sorry. No reason to bash Bush like you did. Bush made his share of mistakes and they include keeping pukes like Wilson around from the Clinton Administration and Armitage who did not have the balls to step up and tell the truth. And that I would call naive.

And no mater what the Bush Administration (you say W) it does not excuse what is going on in this case and in referring to prior administrations is an distraction. Typical liberal defense.

Guess what was said about Wilson, which is now accepted as fact is called some PC term “counter-propaganda campaign”. Very weak argument for Bush bashing.

Harman is meanwhile pushing her out-of-control NSA defense. Despite the fact that there were warrants for the wiretap, and the espionage perps were wiretapped, not she herself. Hey, talk on the phone with espionage suspects and you’re likely to get……

Regardless of whether or not Plame’s identity was leaked, the Bush Administration did attempt a counter-propaganda campaign to Wilson’s illegal leak (there’s that term again) of documents that insinuated there was a conspiracy afloat with whomever made the assignment.

I don’t think there was an intentional attempt to “out” Plame or blow her cover and I think the Bush Administration was doing their best to counter anti-war propaganda.

That Plame’s identity was leaked, by a Democrat no less… but only Republicans were investigated and tried just proves that the whole thing was a political attack by Dems… continuing their corruption here.
