Whiplash. This guy goes one way and then another.

I saw a headline this morning that said something to the effect that Castro was calling Obama a liar and that Fidel still hated the US. Add to that the lecture from Ortega and the book from Chavez and maybe Obama decided to let them have a little of it back. Take that!

lol, Even though I strongly support a free trade deal with Colombia, this just proves how weak Obama is. He cabes whenever a foreign power gets upset with him.

But having said that, Free Trade with Colombia is a good thing and we should stay close to them.

Why was the press AWOL on this? All the time they were reporting on the faux pas by the two commies, Chavez and Ortega, I was wondering about Uribe. It’s as if he wasn’t even there. The contempt the MSM and the Dems (redundancy alert) have for our best ally in SA is disturbing.

Easy – Uribe is not a flamboyant communist sticking his finger in the U.S.’s eye every other day. That’s the only thing our stupid media thinks is “news” from Latin America. Why, it’s almost as if they have a stereotype of a Latin leader. Quick – name the former president of Nicaragua. I’ll bet you can’t. But once Ortega was back in power he is all over our newspapers again.

Removing trade barriers always helps both parties. The notion that somehow a country “protects” itself with trade barriers is like saying that putting a plastic bag over your head protects you from pollution. Sure, without the bag you get some pollution, but the benefits far outweigh the cost.

No really, it’s just an idea, floated out to the MSM to see how it flys.. Once they respond in the negative and Obama takes a meeting with Axelrod to explore his true position on this issue, he will then fly to the TX / Mexico border to give a major speech on trade, and then once he has made himself perfectly “clear” he will roll back the trade embargo with Cuba using the increased custom duties to fund the FARC, after all we need the tax revenue from the cigar trade in Cuba for the children.

I am voting for an Obamaturism of the hour.. it could be its very own web site..
