Obama is making the big push.

Johnson had the advantage with his Great Society of doing it in the name of the dead President, He made it a memorial to JFK

Obama made his first rounds of give aways to the banks, and the money stopped there. His hard core adore him, but it isn't cranking like he needs with the rest of the country

On the other hand, he obviously doesn't care much about the rest of the country, he is an ideologue, not Mother Teresa. There is a big stone of resentment against the America he despises and it shows in his actions. Obama deals the petty insult like few Pres, most of whom did it off camera

If anyone thinks Obama was unaware how his American put downs overseas would be taken by America lovers back home they are dreamers

So it does not have to be a grand plan. It has to be a plan that feels good to Obama. No one lasts 20 years in the church of Rev wright if they have true held convictions otherwise.

I have watched the politicans disassemble the City of Detroit over my lifetime, mostly grudge driven. The Obama bulldozer is nothing new

Obama isn't risking anything.
By 2012, with a White House rigged census and 50 states with ACORN rigged voting roles, there's no chance he will lose. Regardless of how the American people actually vote.

One or two Republicans with functioning testicles is, at best, a "distraction" and no real threat to the messiah's grand plan. But they may represent the crack in the dam. Let's see if, over the next few weeks, they are cowed and fall silent or if their courage will empower other elected eunuchs to regrow a pair.

Yeah. Too bad he totally sucked a** as a candidate and lost really badly. Other than that, he would have been f**king great.
Instead of fantasizing about whether the candidate of a** might have made a decent President, why don't you fantasize how cool it would have been to run a candidate who actually might have had a chance to win. Or just shut up and enjoy the Presidency you enabled by nominating that feckless turd McCain in the first place.

Hear, Hear that's my congressman and
he's never afraid
to call a spade a spade!

Or in this case a commie dictator a commie dictator wannbe.

Presidente Pinnochio is not worried about getting re-elected as POTUS in 2102 because;
He had such any easy time beating that pandering old barnacle McCain that he sees himself, in his self absorbed, egotistical mind as Presidente of the World.

With the help of the media who knows?

Who is pulling Pinnochio's strings?

We need far more Steve Kings and far fewer McCain's.

<blockquote>Very interesting point near the end, though, about The One possibly planning to risk a second term to fulfill his dream of Great Society II.</blockquote>
No, you misunderstood King. BHO is doing everything <em>now</em> so that folks will forget about it three years from now.

There isn’t an ideological concept that Chavez believes that Obama would not have heard in Church or with his early <strike>allies</strike> Ayers.

In addition to both being nationalizers, they are both bent on vote fraud. Don't forget that Obama's entire pre-electoral-politics career was with the vote-fraud group ACORN. Also, Chavez, Ayers and Obama are all "secret" Muslims. William "Abu Zayd" Ayers is pretty up-front about it. Chavez uses "inshallah" as a salutation, and Obama is known to have lied extensively about his Muslim upbringing.

The Koran isntructs Muslims to do exactly this. When in infidel territory, they are SUPPOSED to lie about their religion, if by doing so they can advance Islamic conquest. Thus Obama's known lying is an indication that this is what he is up to. Not proof, but real evidence.

A rundown of some of Obama's many Islamofascist ties <a href="http://errortheory.blogspot.com/2008/07/new-yorker-nails-maximum-likelihood.html" rel="nofollow">here</a>.

I think Obama realizes that no matter what, a lot of people who didn't vote in 2008 are not going to stay home in 2012, and they are NOT going to vote for him. 48/52, despite the spin, was not a 'landslide' per the whores of the MSM.

God bless Steve King. It's so refreshing to have a politician who actually speaks his mind.

I don't always agree with him, but certainly appreciate his candor.

He's dead on the mark here.

The instantiation of universal health care shut out the conservatives in Britan for ten years.
But I think enough economic spaghetti is going to stick to the wall that we wont have that great depression you guys are lusting for.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The health care system in the UK is failing. They've cut life saving drugs for cancers from the program. Women with breast cancer either need to pony up out of their own pockets, or die. Nice choice eh? Especially when most probably contribute to the program via their taxes.
They also need to pay for their own dental care...out of pocket. Not such a great thing, is it?
As for a depression? Probably not. But trust me. When people are paying out the whazzoo in taxes, not just at the federal level, but the local, and state levels....the voices will get louder. When people have to scrimp, and save, just to buy groceries, or pay their electric bill..and nothing is left over for extras.....the economy won't be good anyway.
I thought Democrats were out to help others. By what we've seen with Diane Feinstein today....seems like they're helping themselves, more than anyone else.
<blockquote>The plan to use government funds to recapitalize banks and fund auto industry restructuring began before Obama even won the election and he has continued and bolstered an existing policy begun by the prior administration.
He is nothing like Chavez.
Obama only expanded the policy. Of course the dems were in control of congress for the prior two years. And there is the little detail of taking over control of General Motors.
<blockquote>since his prediction that al qaeda will be dancing on the streets if obama wins didn’t really work out, he’s onto chavez now. this is a bachmann-level moron.
Class, notice how her first sentence ends with an Alinsky-esque ad hominem? That's necause she knows she is lying thru her teeth.
<blockquote>Radical Muslims celebrate Obama election - 'look forward to working with the Obama administration'
November 5, 2008
Radical Muslims are lauding the election of Barack Hussein Obama. Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co conspirator in the 1993 WTC bombing case congratulated Obama writing that "We pray that Allah, Most High, will purify Obama's heart, [and] guide his actions and policies...Furthermore, we encourage American Muslims to engage in forging an agenda and shaping the future of our society."
Al - Hajj Talib Abdur Rashid (the "resident Imam" of the Mosque of the Islamic Brotherhood whose slogan comes from Muslim Brotherhood leader Hassan Al Banna- see below) wrote that :"All Muslims must come to understand the unique, prophetic role that black people , and the Muslims from amongst them, are yet destined to play in the destiny of the land, and its people... to forge a DOMESTIC agenda based upon common interests , which will serve both the present and future generations."
The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) a Saudi funded front group for Hamas, which is an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas funding trial, stated that "We look forward to having the opportunity to work with the Obama administration".
The Islamic Society of North America (also an un indicted co-conspirator in the HLF Hamas funding trial) wrote on their website that:"We at ISNA offer our full support to Mr. Obama and to his administration, and we look forward to working with him in the future".</blockquote>
Better have Zsa Zsa give you some better material, kid.
<blockquote>he’s not keeping his campaign infrastructure up and running because he thinks he’ll have no shot at reelection — but he sure isn’t soft-pedaling the Hopenchange thus far.</blockquote>
This is why it is so important to become informed and actively participating in civics. The GOP hasnt begun to put anyone in the spotlight who could substantially take him out YET. If you think I am wrong I wont feel any anger if you correct me. That means we need to take Congress. That means voting in conservatives, and voting out the old guard if need be(and I think its terribly needed). Hot air does an awesome job at keeping us informed and helping us to make those judgement calls. We need to be organizing enmasse and making sure those we put in office will not be swayed by a picture of pecs and an expensive steak dinner. BO is well on his way to being the "mini me" of Chavez.
How is that any different from how liberals were against Bush?
<blockquote>
If the <strike>economy </strike> war is worse in <strike>2012 </strike> 2006 is the only way you have a shot.</blockquote>
Aside from the poor grammar, that was exactly your side's position. And that's in the context of war, with soldiers' lives on the line.
Don't go crying now.
