Obscene: Ahmadinejad entourage screams “Zionazi” at … Elie Wiesel

Kaleidoscopic irony from the UN’s Jew-bash bash in Geneva, as the world’s most famous Holocaust survivor suffers the indignity of analogy to the people who murdered his family courtesy of the world’s most famous Holocaust denier and his screeching goons — on Hitler’s birthday. I think that’s Ahmadinejad with the keffiyeh around his neck; the two pass within five feet or so of each other at one point. Don’t try parsing the logic: Why Iranians would consider “Nazi” an epithet, especially given Dinner Jacket’s revisionism on genocide, isn’t clear.
An interesting footnote: He actually dropped a line about Holocaust denial from his speech at the last minute under intense pressure from the UN amid the prospect of even more walkouts from western countries. It’s hugely gratifying to see this turn into the PR clusterfark for them that it deserves to be. And no worries — it won’t stop The One from meeting with Khamenei and posing for a stooge-ish grinning handshake photo of his very own. Exit quotation from Wiesel: “Here we are now in the United Nations, an organisation created as a response to the atrocities of the Second World War and we have to protest against anti-Semitic speech.”

This is beyond disgusting and shameful. But this is the UN we are talking about. Where standards of decency toward Jewish people are non-existent.

It is very gratifying to see the support for Israel here – and I sincerely believe it is a great detriment to both of our nations that more people are not able to recognize Israel as a sovereign nation equal to all others for purposes of legitimacy.
Ultimately, we are going to have to attack Iran ourselves, since America has made it clear that we should not rely on you as an ally anymore. This is, of course, why even our leftists were willing to vote for a right-winged govt; funny how a real threat to your life can trump your silly little moonbat dreams, huh, lefties?
Maybe this situation will eventually work to both of our benefits, and we can rebuild our valuable relationship when you have again selected a leader who thinks that our lives are as valuable as yours.
For now though, while the UN and its associated agencies of failure and shame continue to heap calumny upon Israel while turning a blind eye to the REAL and NUMEROUS human rights issues – found often, if not mostly, in Islamic countries – and while the US continues to at least tacitly support those agencies, we have no choice but to go it alone and place our faith in G-d.
ON the up side, our faith in G-d has served us well until now – and we know it will continue to do so.
Thanks for everyone’s kind thoughts and support for Eretz Yisroel – lots of Israelis are thinking of you and praying that the US will keep the qualities and the ideals that have made it great for all these years.
with best wishes and prayers

There was a dream, a dying ember
There was a dream, I barely remember
But I will resurrect that dream
Though rivers stream and hills grow steeper
Soon the blood will run deeper
And when the final duel is near
I’ll lift my spear and fly
Piercing into the sky and higher
And the Hebrews will thrive
Yes, the Mohammedans will cower while the righteous will survive
If we wait for the darkest hour
Till we spring alive
Then with claws of fire, we will devour like a falcon in the dive

78% of Jews voted for Obama. Coincidentally, that’s the exact same percentage of Jews who were dancing around the golden calf when Moses was up on Mount Sinai receiving the Torah and the Ten Commandments.
All Ahmadinejad has to say is “Israel must be destroyed, and hey, that Sarah Palin sure is one scary, religious nutcase”. Jewish liberals will chuckle in agreement over the second part of that quote and completely forget about the first part.

I for one am glad the UN invited him to speak at this conference. Otherwise we’d never have the opportunity for the world media to again show what a piece of sh*t Dinnerjacket is. This gave countries a chance to walk out on him. This gave protesters with a real cause a chance to disrupt this lunatic idiot.
The more the quacks and evildoers are exposed for thier atrocious behaviour, the better the chance they will be stopped.
There needs to be a big media push to show just how despicable Iran’s leadership is and force Obama not to make photo ops with their regime.

When, not if, Israel takes action against Iran, speak in favor of it. Already I’m beginning to find amongst my age bracket a lot of use of the word “zionist”. This canard needs to be struck down in common company. Speak out of the atrocities that the Iranians have committed against their people. When someone decries Israel as a terrorist state, tell them about the rocket attacks from Gaza or the West Bank that usually preceded any major action.
This will be a situation that tries our reserve, and we’ll be demonized as “zionist sympathizers”. Even more importantly, talk to your Jewish friends, and make them aware of the threats that face them. Tell them of the attacks on Jewish schools and students throughout Europe.
What can we, as regular people, do? Whatever we can. If nothing else, convince them to go to the shooting range with you. Get them used to holding a weapon. There may come a day in our lifetimes where they will need to.

It will happen again. Israel is holy, set apart, by God. There are powers far more frightening than Squinty Mahmoud set against Israel. He is simply a tool of those powers, as is the U.N. and nearly every Western nation today.
They are all, either actively or passively, preparing for yet another assault on Israel. I doubt that we, under the current administration, have the wherewithal to stand in the gap any more. We will be judged for not doing so.
I only hope that we have the strength to do what is right by Israel, as we have in the past.

that’s rough
Referencing Obama would clarify that. It is the Obama presidency that has made it clear that Americans can no longer rely on our president as an ally of our own citizens anymore.
But America is always Israel’s ally, regardless of who occupies the Oval Office, because that is how the vast majority of Americans feel. And to date, the American pro-Israeli sentiment has never suffered from any “silent majority” complex. Antisemitism is simply not tolerated in silence, nor has it ever been condoned by our government (Obama aside), or the ACLU which currently flaunts more domestic clout than the Feds in court.
Today’s political scheme globally is best illustrated by the earth’s shifting magnetic poles. All hell is breaking loose.

Unfortunately the propaganda out of Palestine is just too good with little to combat it. I keep wondering where all the rich Republicans went. Just a suggestion: find a local pistol range that rents weapons. See if they have any beginner’s shooter’s classes. A lot of the time, you can rent one of their weapons for the class and buy the ammo there. There’s also a good chance you’ll be receiving information and training from an off-duty LEO or even ex-military. If you’re not used to being around weapons, it’s intimidating at first. However, in my experience, most ranges are full of very friendly, helpful people, who would be glad to introduce you to man’s most important machine.
Wouldn’t that be great? Take political correctness and put it to use for once? Not to stifle debate, but to stop the brainwashing?
In 1937, my grandfather was one of a half-dozen men in Milwaukee who forced their way into a German Bund(read: Nazi) rally and spoke out against Hitler. It turned into a gigantic brawl. 6 Irishmen versus a bar full of Nazi sympathizers…heh, let’s just say the police had to restrain the former. The charges filed against them were dropped in short order.
70 years later, what was being spoken in that Milwaukee bar is being spoken once again, by new voices that have just as much lust to kill every Jew on earth.

Since 1967, when Israel showed the world it was the dominant Middle Eastern power, the US has given Israel military aid.
How, exactly, has the US done ‘right by Israel’ other than this? I have a far less rosy picture of Israel/US relations. You know, Carter forcing the Camp David Accord, largely on Sadat’s terms, on Menachim Begin, Bush 1 forcing Israel into the ‘Madrid conference’ that led to Oslo, Clinton cramming Oslo down Israel’s throat, etc etc.

Makes me wish I were a man strong enough to start crap with idiots. I’m sure it was so cathartic for them.
But it is sad how just before war public perception was not at all what I used to believe it was. We made serious sacrifices in that war and became great through it, but we could have easily taken another path.
Some of that even being spoken by Jews. We’re in need of a serious enlightenment period.

Just the other day I posted a comment saying that we should ignore and not fund the UN except for the Security Council. I wanted us to be there to veto the usual nonsense.
Now I am changing my mind. We should just get out of the UN altogether. This, of course, would only take place with a competent government in charge. The current one certainly won’t do it.
We should declare that we will ignore the UN, ignore its resolutions, ignore its “authority” and order the whole mess out of the country.
I have previously suggested Zimbabwe or the Congo for its future home.
