Quote of the day
posted at 10:35 pm on April 20, 2009 by Allahpundit
“Here’s the thing; everything Janeane said is what people on the left already think. They have been saying it right to your face, in creative ways, for years. Remember when the candidate Obama repeatedly spoke about his being a long shot for the election because ‘he has a funny name’ or because he ‘doesn’t look like those other presidents on our money,’ what do you think he was saying? He was saying that a large portion of our country is racist. He was talking about you. He was trying to shut his critics up even before they started. And it worked. Almost no one called him on it.
So don’t get upset when someone says it out loud. You should be glad someone finally said it-now you can answer the charge. You don’t want to have to answer the charge? Why not? It’s out there.”

Jews are loyal to Dems going back to Harry Truman since he was instrumental in helping Israel become a nation state.
Blacks are loyal to Dems going back to LBJ since he was instrumental in helping blacks with the Voting Act.
Hispanics will be loyal to Dems once Obama passes amnesty in a few months.
Good times.

Don’t play their game……….
…….. don’t buy what they, or any of their sponsors are selling,
Don’t watch the networks, Movies, papers, or buy any of the Advertisers’ products, and let them know why…….
……. ignore them, continue with the protests, make them obsolete, turn the channel.
Move above their schoolyard name calling……..
……. don’t even acknowledge their diatribe.
Turn them into the walking dead, not seen, not heard, left only to talk to themselves with ever decreasing influence ……
……. the “TEA” parties have shaken the nation, and those who would dismiss it as what it is not,
then they will deserve what they get………

You turds don’t seem to get it.
There is no class status in the US outside of the ones told you by your masters.
Racism has been ‘in the open’ for a fuckin 100 years. And why is it still talked about as a necessary dialogue? See above, the elistists want you riled up and emoting thier dictums.
You won’t see that in a free thinking American. WE DON’T BUY THE BULLSHIT and we are apparently fed (or FED) up with it being laid at our door.
Do you honestly think (nevermind…) that if there were no inter-racial envy, all would be nirvana?

Ok, as a conservative I believe that the words of our founding fathers are very close to sacred! I do believe that there was this little line about “All men are created equal.” I will admit that I am a southerner (converted, grew up in ND) who had some, shall we say, racist beliefs. It took my politics to change my attitude toward those who did not look/talk/act like me. I had to decide whether I was trully a believer in the words of the founding fathers or I only believed when I was writing in a blog or talking politics. I made my choice, I am proud of it.
Sorry for another one of my long rambling posts, I just felt I needed to say it.

Reading comments from liberals like strangelet always fills me with a renewed appreciation for the awesome power of George W. Bush. The guy’s been out of office for four months, after running silent and deep for the better part of his second term – but he’s still got more control over the economy than Barack Obama, the transformational Lightworker. Despite the fact that conservatives were never happy about Bush’s $450 billion deficits, we’re supposed to admit some kind of hypocrisy because we dare to object to Obama’s endless trillion-dollar-plus deficits, which will make Bush’s fiscal irresponsibility look like a rounding error within a year or two.
And don’t forget that blithering idiots like Matt Yglesias think Bush is responsible for terrorist attacks that occurred ten years before he took office. Bush was such a master of subtle intrigue that he turned America into a jackbooted police state without anyone except the enlightened Left even noticing – a vast and terrible machinery of oppression that vanished without a trace on January 20, 2009, leaving not the slightest clue as to their current whereabouts. Bush’s astonishing powers of psychic domination enabled him to force almost the entire Democrat party into supporting his absurd and doomed war in Iraq, a feat that even Charles Xavier would envy. He could control the weather, too, sending a hurricane to commit genocide on the blacks of New Orleans, even as his invisible repression commandos dynamited the levies. Top liberal conspiracy theorists still debate whether this was the same team of super-ninjas that planted the charges to bring the World Trade Center down on September 11th.
When he wasn’t amusing himself with Bond-villain schemes to control the world, Bush was a dazzling master of congressional politics, able to pervert the noble Fannie Mae into a cash machine for his invisible, untraceable fat cat buddies, tricking proud statesmen like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd into ferociously defending a system that was collapsing into a black hole beneath their very noses. His subprime looting spree was a plan so insidious, so fearfully complex, that top Democrats turn white and flee into elevators when asked to explain exactly how it worked. Bush’s political skills were so subtle that he was able to trick the entire Democrat Party into acting like worse-than-useless, seditious imbeciles all the way through the War on Terror. His mastery of the dark arts of torture and oppression enabled him to forge a dungeon at Guantanamo Bay that even the Lightworker was surprisingly timid about shutting down, and his Ringwraiths have so terrified President Obama that he still allows them to stalk the halls of the Pentagon, stammering confused apologies to his liberal base about how he might still need their sinister skills someday.
To hear a liberal talk, Bush is a towering figure who casts shadows both before and after his term. Obama and his congressional allies are helpless children, able to do nothing except bow deeply and smile like idiots when they have audiences with foreign despots, humbly begging them to stay their vengeance now that the dark titan they were terrified of has vacated the White House. As he returns home from a world tour in which he failed to talk anyone into anything, with his most memorable achievements being a propaganda photo-op for a Communist dictator and boosting the Amazon.com ranking of a fraudulent anti-American tract, I wonder if Obama is only days away from adding another chapter to the monumental legacy of George W. Bush by trying to blame him for something else that Obama is powerless to deal with. I also wonder if Obama ever contemplates the witless old fool he took as a running mate, and wonders if the equally legendary, totemic Dick Cheney ever thinks about switching parties.

The more their demented rants are disseminated across the various media outlets, the more they expose their radical, American hating, indefensible positions. Let’s have a lot less Janeane Garofalo and a lot more Katrina Pierson. Is that such a difficult request to accommodate?
coldwarrior on April 21, 2009 at 12:12 AM
Not quite. LBJ took the easy route to make up for slavery, Jim Crow and institutionalized segregation via the Great Society programs. And that’s where the loyalty came from.
Other black people always ask me “what has the Republican Party done for you?” Ever since our ancestors were brought here, the idea that there would be an earthly liberator/benefactor–a leader–for black people has existed. That idea evolved into the idea that a party should be that benefactor. Black people were barely made full citizens (in 1964) when LBJ jumped in and said “watch! I’ll have them ni**ers voting Democrat for the next 100 years.” Never mind that his policies have nearly destroyed black Americans; the myth remains.
Then along comes Obama, the embodiment of vengeance for past wrongs and a proponent of the idea “benefactor government.” That he has some African ancestry is icing on the cake.
I found it really stupid that many white conservatives were hollering about the alleged racism indicated by the fact that Obama received 95% of the black vote. I was actually heartened by it. John Kerry received 89% of the black vote in 2004 so I expected 99.9%.
Black people are voting for the party perceived to be “doing things” for black people. Of course we know it is the party which is doing things to black people, but the idea is well-planted and watered by the media and by miseducation.

I would hate to be Black. No mater how successful I ever got, even if I became a billionaire like Oprah, or President of the United States, like Obama, some gagle of banshees of the left would forever be telling me how set upon I was. Morning, noon and night till I died. Never any peace. It would probably be their last shrill words to me as I took my last breath and then they would probably have me resuscitated so they could tell me again and then not even give me any peace at my funeral.

To paraphrase Voltaire, “If Bush did not exist, it would be necessary for the Dems to invent him” in order to cover up their own inadequacies in governance.
The only thing I’d add to your post is that apparently, given the performance of the stock market the first two months of Obama’s term, George Bush could also turn a forward-looking institution that normally would be reacting to the estimated future profitability of the companies traded there into a backward-looking condemnation of 8 years of Bush’s policies (or 28 years of the GOP’s deregulation policies, depending on which Obama apologist was on the interview circuit that day).

This is exactly why we need to accuse the left of racisim. We have strong arguments to support that claim. they are racist. And have used racism to promote their agenda for years. They have also twisted history to support their claims. We need to beat the racism drum. Play the race card if you will. It has been used effectively against us for years with no real back up in fact. We have facts. Let’s use that. Point our who the real racist are in our society. It is people like this cow here. She’s like the Left’s Ann Coulter except without the wit, irony, sarcasm, education, knowledge or intelligence. Obama gets away with most of his errors because they are simply never reported, so he never has to defend himself. The MSM are spiking or burying his gaffes. And they rarely report the potential, even likely, adverse impacts of his policies.
So, I doubt they are concerned about our criticism at Hot Air.
However, I notice that when Obama falters, the trolls react en masse and persistently on the threads covering them. The more trolls, the more persistent, the worse the gaffe.

Do you ever change any minds about what the Dem party does to blacks instead of for them? Just curious what message hits home.
This makes me crazy, he gets away with everything. Rarely does he get called out on something and when he does the rest of the media is out in force rationalizing it. I know the media is a source of frustration for everyone but I think it is potentially the worst problem in some ways. You need a free and fair press for a democracy, it is almost the 4th arm of the government. What lengths will they go to cover up for him? Look at Edwards, just a minor example really, there is loads of stuff behind the scenes that never makes it to light of day.

Pulitzers ceased to be meaningful awards when The Times won one back in ’33 for a piece written on the Soviet Union that completely whitewashed the Ukranian Holocaust in the name of extolling the “virtues” of Stalin and the Soviet Apparatus.
Kinda like Nobel Peace Prizes after they started handing them out to terrorists.

I did as you suggested.
But I lost track.
Can I use rounding?

I like this. I think it goes beyond just boycotting, though. Here are some more long term ideas:
It’s all about discernment and resolve. Something that troubles me is the complete willingness to absorb liberal social ideology in the entertainment media, all the while rejecting the news media as being biased…and, at the same time, following the liberal social agenda and assuming it’s the GOP who needs to change with the times. I mean…get with it. You absorb the culture, you will change with it. FOX news won’t save us from that!!!
So, I will add this to your “solution”:
-learn discernment and seek wisdom. Try to see through the entertainment media you consume to be what it is. Don’t accept what you hear without a critical understanding of the philosophical underpinnings. It’s tiring at first, but, you won’t be as easily fooled if you start now.
I AM NOT SAYING WATCH ONLY “Remember the Giants” or “Fireproof” hahaha Just KNOW what you are hearing and KNOW that entertainment has the ability to sway EMOTIONALLY and that is pretty much what the agenda IS.
Rather than all boycotting, etc., here are some proactive steps to take:
-find out when city council meets and go. Find out when public school curriculum is decided and voted on and go (you are paying for this regardless whether or not your children attend.)
-If you have a local college or university, call them and find out if they have a young republican or conservative/libertarian club. support them. Ask them the climate at the school. call the dean and suggest they hire a more POLITICALLY diverse staff…eh hem…conservatives. If it’s your alma mater, you will have more pull. Don’t be nervous. Remember, if it’s state run, YOU HAVE A STAKE IN IT.
-If you want your kids out of public school but think you can’t afford it, there is still a way. Lots of private schools offer tuition help AND there are scholarships available to single parents who want to homeschool. Also, there might be some homeschooling family who could watch/tutor your child for a fee and have good resources available for you to carry the torch for the rest of the week or part time.
basically, we need to KNOW the power of our ideas and KNOW they resonate with the public. Then, we need to assert ourselves again, read more, be involved in the community OUTSIDE just your regular friends and church family and be charitable.
Just some thoughts. They don’t and shouldn’t own EVERYTHING.

Most?
You’re being generous!
Then again conservatives do more charity, so.

anybody ever wonder why the gop gets about 5% of the black vote? The gop is getting to be a white, older, southern, regional party. Any wonder why the tea parties were mostly white? And yesterday Hanitty was talking about Rev Wright and black liberation theology. The gop won’t come out directly and talk about color, they use code words, and hint around. The tea parties were just an anti-Obama hatefest. Read it and weep.

Athensboy, it’s not about black or white and never has been. It’s about those that have and those that don’t. The tea parties were mostly white because these are the ownership class, the people that work 12 hour days to provide a better life for themselves without looking to the government for handouts. Eventually the majority of blacks will realize they have been shackled to the Democrat Plantation, and as they move up the economic ladder, many more will become Republican. I’m pro-choice, but groups like Planned Parenthood are a continuation of Eugenics programs started a hundred years ago. Racism is a construct devised to divide the American people. If it wasn’t for the media, you would never hear the word Racism. The more the word Racism is used, the less gravitas it will have. Why is it that only blacks are affected by Racism? People from all over the globe come here, and within two years they own the store, have a house, two BMWs, kids in private school, and they are asian,European and even African. Blacks in this country believe the Democrat ideology that they need whitey’s government to survive. I don’t hate anyone, based on skin color or not. The only color that matters to me is green. Then again, if Olbergoebbels and Garafalo say I’m a racist, it must be true. Olbergoebbels is never wrong….

I was stuck living in Northern Ca for a few years; I was shocked to see just how racially segregated some of the communities are. How did they do it? home prices. If you could afford a home then you and your neighbors are 90+% white. The corollary is that a non-white with the wherewithal to afford a home in that area probably doesn’t want to live in a neighborhood where they will be looked down upon.
If you can afford rent only in the low end of the spectrum then your neighborhood is “diverse” and has a crime rate to worry about.
A large-scale devaluation in housing may serve to break up some of the racial exclusivity in this area.
mad scientist on April 21, 2009 at 7:45 AM
The only people I ever hear bring up race are the ones on the left. And why is it that when a black man or woman chooses to be a republican they are called all sorts of horrible racist names by those on the left.?? Lefties are obsessed with race. Righties are obsessed with being American.
