Most of us Upstate who agree with you, are sophisticated enough to realize that the majority of the electorate in NY State doesn’t agree (thanks in good part to your downstate compatriots, though not totally, I admit). And it’s not like there is a viable alternative to Republican pols like Rudy on this issue. Who are we going to vote for, Cuomo?

To me gay marriage is a state issue. But then, to me, education and welfare are issues for the private sector.
