To paraphrase “Spinal Tap,” how much more red could this meat be? And the answer is none. None more red.

Zo knows. He just gets it.
Fantastic! And what a great delivery!
Sterling Holobyte on April 19, 2009 at 11:33 PM
That’s because they can’t handle the truth.
Truth is poison to atheists and libs alike.
Sterling Holobyte on April 19, 2009 at 11:36 PM
Awesome job, Zo. I love this guy. Preach on, brotha’.
….on a side note, I’m wondering if I’m watching the same vid as everyone else in here. Referencing Hitler? “String of imbecilities”? Zo’s not in the GOP (apparently someone is new to Zo’s works)?
CatsGodot on April 19, 2009 at 11:42 PM

I will make it simple for all atheists to understand the stupid arguments that christians use to claim that there is proof that God exists.
http://www.godlessgeeks.com/LINKS/GodProof.htm
I believe ZO uses the:
ARGUMENT FROM MASS PRODUCTION
(1) Barbie dolls were created.
(2) If Barbie dolls were created, then so were trees.
(3) Therefore, God exists.
and
ARGUMENTUM AD TINKERTOYUM, a.k.a. DESIGN/TELEOLOGICAL ARGUMENT (XII)
(1) Take some tinkertoys and make several “creations”.
(2) Take the creations apart and dump the pieces in a plastic bag.
(3) Shake the pieces up and dump them on the floor. Repeat as many times as you wish.
(4) The tinkertoys will never reassemble themselves into the original creations.
(5) Therefore, God exists.
and a dab of
ARGUMENT FROM COMPLEXITY, a.k.a. DESIGN/TELEOLOGICAL ARGUMENT (XIII)
(1) That which is complex has a creator.
(2) The universe is complex.
(3) Only God is complex enough to create the universe.
(4) Therefore, God exists.

Nice to see the right continue to alienate all but the thumping-est bible-belters. Our economy is in shambles, Obama is poised to crush what shambles remain into a fine socialist powder, and the extreme right wing is complaining about atheists. We’re screwed.
RightOFLeft on April 20, 2009 at 12:27 AM
From my prespective reading comments here, the atheists are the ones doing the complaining. It’s been my experience that most of the religious leave atheists to their own devices but the atheists are not contend to return the favor.

Except of course for that presidential candidate that so many on here love, that referred to us as “evil doers”.
thphilli on April 20, 2009 at 1:01 AM
Like Zo, here. Whatever. It’s your party, lose if you want to.
RightOFLeft on April 20, 2009 at 1:11 AM
I know I’m supposed to be some conservative black hating racist. But, why then do I LOVE Zo so much.
He is the bomb!!
jjjen on April 20, 2009 at 1:13 AM
I just told you at 10:05 that I can’t prove God to you, but He can & will prove himself if you seek him. He’s proved himself to me.

Let’s take Charles Johnson as an example. Every complaint he makes about creationism has to do with an actual policy issue. Specifically, the Republican insistence on teaching religious dogma in schools. He’s never said that Christians are soulless monsters, or that anyone has to share his religious outlook to help solve the political problems we face. Johnson couldn’t hope to match the religious right’s contempt for atheists, non-Christians, and not-the-right-kind-of-Christians.

A few years ago, the lawyer for a Canadian gay rights group stated that there can be religious freedom, or homosexual rights but not both
That lawyer signaled the intention of her organization to move against religious expression
This argument has taken root and a schism of intolerance has grown that can be seen in thread like this one
The fact that gay groups have used courts to overturn public referendums shows their intent. The rights they are declaring were never rights but privileges reserved for state discretion.
Meanwhile, our Constitutional religious freedom guarantees were absolute, and this was assuming the religion of the Bible, Old and New Testaments, and not the new age religions that were adopted to validate sodomy, which is what gay expression was called in the Bible
In the same way the gay movement has taken the word ‘marriage’ and redefined it so gay grouping suddenly becomes lawful recipient of the legal attainments of marriage, they have addended to the Biblical morality at the time of the Constitution, items which were antithetical to the definition of morality
Not surprisingly the Religious right are not sheep and refuse to accept the new definitions. This to the gay movements is a declaration of war and they will not rest until all religious dissenters are vanquished.
Until the gizzard is cut out of the Bible they cannot rest

You people picked the wrong one to head the rnc.

This guy is a lot sharper
Perhaps that is why he is not the figurehead of the RNC
He might take control

This guy is good.

Man, that steak isn’t tar-tar, it’s still mooing.
That was dead on accurate and very, very well said. :) :) :)

I like Zo alot, his videos are always spot on. I always end up saying “right on! right on!” whilst watching. But, I sure do miss his old youtube format.

Am I the only person here sick to death of the war between Christian and Atheist Conservatives? I expect Christians (like myself and Zo) to have good arguments supporting their views, and I expect Atheists to likewise have strong supporting arguments for their opinions. The fact that conservative ideology can be reached from both bases is a testament to the strength of our philosophy. I think both Religious and Irreligious views lend strength to modern Conservatism, and I also think an argument can be made that both are also harmful in some respects.
Why the insistence that one be purged from the movement? Shouldn’t we be far more focused on weeding out those whose actions do not match their rhetoric (big spending/gov’t so-called Cons) than on those who’ve reached the same conclusions via a different line of thought? Really, the continuation of this argument starts to sound like people on both sides simply trying to appear more enlightened than thou, and it’s dull and counterproductive.
That said, Zo rocks my world. My hubby and I were discussing recently the fact that we think he’ll be the Rush for the next generation (ours!). Woohoo!
Animator Girl on April 20, 2009 at 4:07 AM
I recommend the 5000 Year Leap. Atheism has no place in our American society, and is the by-product of progressiveness and surely is the handiwork of the devil. Likewise, people that claim to be atheist are only fooling themselves, and doing a great disservice to the conservative movement. But, may they always have the right to speak freely.
long_cat on April 20, 2009 at 4:53 AM
The way this man brings it is SO RIGHT. Love Zo.
inviolet on April 20, 2009 at 6:00 AM
Sometimes I think this site does more to divide and conquer than to unify. I certainly didn’t hear Zo “knocking atheists.” I heard two sentences about what an atheist’s response to his rant might be.
I agree with you, Animator Girl. If conservatives are to have any hope of getting the message across they need to stick to the main issues of less government, fewer entitlements, and more individual freedoms. We need leaders and voters who agree with this, not everything each of us believes in. That would be a pretty boring group.
Leave religion out of it and respect others beliefs or lack of religious beliefs. Loving your neighbor is not exclusive to those who believe in a supreme being.

Ready for Prime Time… and has been…
Are you listening Roger?
jerrytbg on April 20, 2009 at 7:55 AM
Absolutely not true. He’ll smear anyone as a “Creationist” these days. He’ll just throw it in there as an insult. The Creationists do not have anywhere near the power reading his blog might lead you to think, yet he constantly talks about them the way an anti-semite talks about Jews controlling the world. If Creationists had such influence, they would have gotten at least one Bible State to push Creationism, but they don’t.
I have seen many people disagree with Charles on an unrelated issue, and he throws a fit and calls them a “young earth creationist”. It comes out of nowhere. As a matter of fact, in his meltdown after Glenn Beck poked fun at his jazz playing, he hurled out a list of insults with “creationist” being one of them. I don’t recall Beck ever talking about the world being 6,000 years old. Even if he did, there’s still a large number of posters on his site he called a “creationist” in a perjorative way.
The guy is very personal. And highly divisive.
Daemonocracy on April 20, 2009 at 7:56 AM
O/T but relevant to the site…
I think sometime this week I’ll order a pizza…
jerrytbg on April 20, 2009 at 8:09 AM
Hey Juliette!
It’s not too late!
You don’t really want to be in the Crypto-neanderthal Conspiracy Theory Party, do you? Charles says Rush and Beck are taking advertising dollars to pimp Alex Jones’ movie.
Is that your Party?
Beck makes slideshows juxtaposing pictures of Hitler and Obama and takes advert dollars to pimp Info Wars junk conspiracy theory.
We all know Info Wars is just Stormfront for the middleaged white guy.
How can you support that?
You know what those sociopathic creeps think of you and of jews.
That is why Beck got kerbstomped by Charles.
Because Alex Jones is a pure racist white-supremecist anti-semite.
Did you know black is my favorite color?
strangelet on April 20, 2009 at 9:45 AM
Gotta love Zo. He is the Bo Snerdley of Hot Air.
BetseyRoss on April 20, 2009 at 10:04 AM
You really are strange. You do know that Beck claims to be a libertarian, not a Republican right?
littleguy on April 20, 2009 at 10:46 AM
I love Zo… can’t get enough of him.
D2Boston on April 20, 2009 at 11:07 AM
You just have to know that if the Republican party decided to thrust Alfonzo on the national stage as it’s nominee for president, the totally down with equality and tolerance crowd would FREAK! Suddenly we would see how a person who is culturally black would seem so “unpolished”. Can you imagine the knots they would have to twist themselves into looking for reasons to tear him down?
The reason the Libs like Obama is because he is more white than black.
It would have been so nice for the black community to have had a real black leader be their first presidential representative, instead of the puppet who couldn’t care less about them .

Meathead’s best work is a parody on rockstars. It’s funny but easy material to work with.
shick on April 20, 2009 at 12:32 PM
How old are you?
strangelet on April 20, 2009 at 2:09 PM
What, you lookin for a date, think you might get lucky?
Old Hippie Vet on April 20, 2009 at 2:18 PM
No and no. I am not denying the massive, formative role that Christianity has played in the success of America, nor its importance to the nation’s continued success, but I have no problem with Atheism in America – while a lot of militant Atheists can be obnoxious and intolerant, their opposing views force consideration of questions and ideas that Christians might not otherwise consider, making the faith stronger, not weaker. And treating the Devil as a scapegoat for any and all doubt or opposition is useless, and in any case, living in fear of his influence just empowers him.
My point is simply this: while our religious views (or lack thereof) inform our political choices, we should be able to work together when we find ourselves at the same conclusion, regardless of how we arrived there. I’m basically saying that trying to purge one side or the other is a waste of time and energy when we mean to pursue the same ends. Open disdain gets us nowhere.
Animator Girl on April 20, 2009 at 3:23 PM
Rock on, Zo! He has such a gift for stating the obvious. I just don’t understand how the Libs can’t get it!
CarlaPHX on April 20, 2009 at 4:28 PM
That is what got us Obama THNK YOU VERY MUCH.
There is room in this party for all that want to be in it. Now if you like Obama and his kind or worse and if that is what you want, keep fighting within the party and pushing people out.
Old Hippie Vet on April 20, 2009 at 4:53 PM
I will never be able to watch Zo the same way ever again. Now every time I’ll watch one of these videos he publishes I’ll be saying to myself, “I know what Zo’s thinking right now.”
/sarc *wink*
