Pity the poor souls at Olby Watch, forced to work ’round the clock to capture all of the backlash to Thursday night’s smear-job tour de force on “Countdown.” Dobbs fired the first shot but the bombs are falling steadily now: For your enjoyment, a triple play of Gutfeld, Levin, and F&F straining to express the extent of their contempt for two of the left’s lowest bottom-feeders. There’s name-calling galore, but then Garofalo started that herself with the reference to tea-partiers as “rednecks.” Note well Levin’s point about Olby egging her on with sotto voce “mm-hmms” all the way through her rant, something I noticed myself in my post on this. She’s taking most of the heat but he’s just as culpable.
Oh, according to Rush Limbaugh, she’s a liar, too. Surprise. Click the images to watch.

Allah, I don’t care what she does, whatever she is doing, they make a medication for it (this is America not some third world country, people don’t have to suffer with mental illness) maybe she is going through menopause? A confession..before this season of 24 began I contemplated the idea of boycotting the show if Garofalo was to be in it. I changed my mind with the reasoning that she had a bit part. I’ve always considered 24 one of the few scripted shows on tv worth watching. Now what to do?..whenever her mug appears on screen I’ll remember what this ingnorant troll said ..which becomes a major distraction
I don’t know what to do, but I wish I had listened to my initial thought of a boycott. Now I have to wrestle with the idea of quitting 3/4 of the way into the season

The real culprit here is Olbermann, the news host (hah! I laugh every time I type those words with his name), for being a complete sycophant and allowing this falderol to go unchallenged.
This is the same Olbermann who, while co-anchoring the news desk during MSNBC’s election coverage, interrupted Scarborough when Scarborough said something Olbermann didn’t like about Obama’s poll numbers.
Olbermann’s willing to challenge people. When they say things he doesn’t agree with. If he agree, then silence.

Garofalo is a potent example of how blind people can be. They scream about the divisiveness of the conservatives while they accuse then of racism. I fail to see how that accusation itself is not also divisive. Garofalo talks about a lot of things where she had swallowed the Kool-Aid by the pitcher full. But real investigation and even a cursory familiarity with the news and history show her to be ignorant and biased. If you pay much attention at all to this twit, then you are pretty much a kook.

Just this week we learned that the GE people called in CNBC people to complain because some of the CNBC folks were tough on Obama.
You’d think GE would be a least a little concerned about MSNBC’s genital jokes and the insults and invective thrown against folks who are more typically the target market for GE’s consumer products. Fine, they’re happy scooping up the tiny left wing TV market, but it’s amazing that they also attack the consumers who make up the much larger audience at Fox.
I don’t begrudge GE the right to align itself with the far left or insult the company’s consumer markets. However, I stopped buying GE products when the company’s label stopped meaning quality and GE’s political alliances do nothing to attract my interest in its products. I’m certainly not interested in GE stock.

Logic dictates that if one makes an assertion not supported by factual evidence, and one example opposite of the assertion is found, the orginal premise is false, null and void. For that matter the entire argument is false, null and void. For brevity, I will only cite one. I have a master’s degree in history and have taught college level US history courses. I know exactly what the Boston Tea Party was about and I would gladly challenge Garafolo to compare her knowledge of US history to mine. I was at one of the tea parties and whole heartedly supported them. Therfore there is only one conclusion to be drawn…Garafolo is an ass, and even worse…she is a stupid ass.

There is a certain word reserved for the very upper echelon of this “type” of woman that should only be employed in the rarest and most special of circumstances, lest its’ affect be diluted. The word starts with a “c” and ends with a “t” and if you utter this word in the company of woman or, god forbid, one’s wife, you will instantly be cast out into the dank dungeon of male contrition. Thus the word should be bestowed vis á vis the most stringent of standards, as in in this case, where the performance of Ms. Garofalo on Keith Olberman’s show has earned her the c-word moniker with the a certainty rivaling or exceeding the aptness of say, Keith Richard’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Judging by the TV ratings, he’s done a pretty good job. Another year or so and he’s show will be history, it keeps shedding viewers like a dog does hair.
