Finally: Obama and Evil Clown grip and grin
posted at 7:55 pm on April 17, 2009 by Allahpundit
You wanted it, America, you got it. Via Tapper, the long-awaited meeting between the “destructive force” and the “ignoramus” hath come to pass. There are already a few photos of the encounter at Yahoo News but you have to go to Facebook for the best one. Check out that thousand-watt grin. Funding FARC, imprisoning dissidents, staging wargames with Russia, and of course consolidating dictatorial power — none of it’s enough to ruin a photo op for The One. I hope this at least convinces El Presidente not to throw that Cuba-themed tantrum at the summit that he’s been planning. We deserve something in return for the free propaganda Barry just handed him.
Here’s the video of Chavez calling Bush the devil at the UN two years ago. There’s some common ground for starting a dialogue, I guess.
Update: The Evil Clown wants to be “friends.”

Gross. Just gross. Honestly, this sickens me.

Of course it matters. If you’re native language is not English it would explain why you can’t seem to make a coherent sentence.

No way will the White House deny this. In fact, they will celebrate it as a “new day” in relations with our southern neighbors. They are doing the same thing with Cuba.

You know, we’ve sweat and spilled a lot of American blood in Central and South America since the eighties to keep that region Marxism free. God when I think that all that time and effort is being thrown away by a bunch of fools who are pretty much saying, you know these guys aren’t so bad.
Castro is and always has been a murderer.
Che (burning in hell) was a murderer.
Chavez is a murderer. (And he supports the murderous FARC)
Why do liberals love these guys?

There are two things about AP that rile me up:
1) His distaste for all things Glenn Beck and
2) His disinterest in actually keeping threads from being constantly troll-jacked by these spamming POSs. At some point, why come back to Hot Air? Seriously, every thread is littered with OT textual feces like “The adults are in charge” or “All cubans freed without one shot fired.”

He has to make up to these clowns. The Europeans discounted him as a lite weight. IF he can’t get them to follow him, he’ll try down south of the border way where dictators are a way of life. Hail Obama. It is sad though. How we will ever rid ourselves of him I have no idea. I figure being a conservative christian I’ll be in a camp within the next three years and all this will be forgotten in a wave of water boarding as they try to pry the whereabouts of my Bible out of me.

The Tea Party protests are a very good signal that Americans are seeing this horror movie and recognizing who the leading actors are. In a matter of a few months, Obama has apologized to several countries for the horrible behavior of the country he now leads. If fact, Obama was in Mexico today and he actually apologized to the Mexican President for the behavior of America, while blaming the drug cartel problem Mexico has been having for the past 100 years minimum, on American citizens who provide a demand mechanism for the drug lords.
America is watching, as this past Wednesday’s protests put on display for the entire world. The American MSM failed with it’s duties once again (shock), but the press from dozens of other countries are reporting on this development to their citizens.
The Democrat Party, the print news industry, prime time television news outlets, the music industry, & Hollywood are all going to lose big time with this historic power grab and move towards Socialism.
The revolution has begun. The Obama administration is on it, we must give them credit for that. By using the Dept. of Homeland Security, the CIA, and the FBI to target all opposition, this administration is taking fast & aggressive moves to counter all protests. This government stinks of Dictatorship, Censorship, and thuggery the likes of which we have never seen before.
I’m so thankful for the bloggers who continue to stand up for the people and our Constitution rights. I’m so thankful for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Michelle Malkin, Mark Levin, and all others who stand up for us at the risks that are becoming more obvious with each day. I have become a Fox News fan once again, following a lengthy break from any and all TV news.

Nice idea, but it doesn’t work that way. What you call “slapping them around” just ends up being a waste of time and bandwidth. Hot Air has a lot of things going for it. It allows commenting when some other great sites (like Instapundit) don’t; Hot Air has the talent (MM, AP, EM) that other sites don’t; and most importantly Hot Air has an active, knowledgeable user base that’s eager to discuss a range of topics, compare that to the lack of posting at other good sites like NewsBusters or Red State.
That said, this site could still be better. Every thread eventually gets derailed by the same handful of trolls. Heck, some threads seem to be off-topic from the beginning. Now, I’m not saying that banning the trolls would solve the near 2/3rds drop in readership that happened earlier this year, but the honest truth is, hits are down and cleaning up some of the crap around here certainly couldn’t hurt.

Again, trolls only take over a thread when other people take them seriously…or the troll is more interesting than the origianal topic…it happens.
Do what I do, if you think a troll is taking over a thread and starting to get on everybodies nerves, which happens sometimes…just gently remind people that trolls really just love attention…honestly, what do we have to fear from a troll?
