Just remember peeps, Cronyn who is in charge of the Republican Senatorial election committee, has committed to giving fund money to SPecter. They will NEVER get another dime from me. I am going to donate directly to Toomey. Even if he loses, we can hopefully teach the other remaining incumbant RINOs to begin to move back from the Dem side of voting.

It seems the majority of your campaign money should come from your constituents, that is the state.

I would agree,but I doubt our current congress sees it that way. Constituents are those you represent, and Dodd apparenty does not limit that to the people who elected him,or voted against him. Once the republic is gone and we have a socialist democracy in its place, it will not matter who supports them since they will virtually represent the people, where ever they are, who benifit from their being in power. Power begets power as the saying goes.

He’ll still win reelection

It is not a well known fact re-election rules stack the deck in favor of the incumbent. I have no doubt that those in power will not allow one of their key members to lose the election.

Sounds like the Democrat Party is falling into step with the UK. Over there, a politician doesn’t need to actually live in the district they represent.

I think Albert Gore Sr. and Jr. started the trend over here. They lived in a luxurious hotel in Washington, D.C. and supposedly represented some place they called ‘Armand Hammer’. Actual residents of the State of Tennessee barely recall seeing either of them except when campaigning.

I find it surprising (not really) that for state offices their has to be some ration of state money to out of state money raised.

I doubt this means we can flip the seat but maybe we’ll at least see Dodd get replaced with some other liberal. At least the new guy wouldn’t have had a large hand in crashing the financial system.
