Left-wing extremism often has developed from working-class movements seeking in theory to eliminate, not preserve, class distinctions. Communism evolved from left-wing extremism. The threat from left-wing extremists did not die with the collapse of the Soviet Union, however. Domestic groups and state-sponsored cells and individuals have continued their espionage activities and the planning of terrorist actions against the U.S. government. Leftist extremists were responsible for three-fourths of the officially designated acts of terrorism in America in the 1980s. From an international perspective, of the 13,858 people who died between 1988 and 1998 in attacks committed by the 10 most active terrorist groups in the world, 74 percent were killed by leftist organizations.

Although the current domestic terrorist threat within the United States is focused on right-wing extremists and white supremacists, left-wing extremists are alive and well and
have several objectives.

1) Government employees are largely Democrats, that’s a fact. Whether Bush was their boss or not, it’s easy to see bureaucrats at a federal agency writing something like this to get it through if a Dem won office.

2) Once the report was finished, it would have been reviewed by Janet herself or somebody she delegated that task to before it being released. Its release signifies her approval of it, whether directly or through a qualified approver.

When “civil unrest” is used to suspend the Constitution, this report will be used to pick who they go after.

Okay, NOW I believe it’s no hoax. I find both reports to be disturbing on so many levels, especially in terms of the “scholarship” (for lack of a better word) involved.

The difference is sympathy for one and animosity for the other.

And this country grows further and further apart on more and more fronts–where is it headed? Either obama and the Dem leadership on the Hill does not notice, notices and doesn’t care or wants it this way. The increasing divisivness, to use their word, can be laid squarely at the feet of the folks in DC.

I believe that this is the way they want it.

Once the divisions become great enough, it will justify the calling out of federal troops to restore order by crushing those who dissent.
