I take it that he is an idiot that attempts to synthesize Christianity and Islam and Leftism and thinks we will swoon and comply regardless of his incoherency.

It’s called Nation of Islam. Nation of Islam is to regular Islam as Kwanzaa is to Christmas.

To Muslims, even the Wahhabis and Al Qaida, hatred of the United States is merely a means to a spiritual end. With Nation of Islam, it’s the other way around: The “GOD DAMN AMERICA” stuff is their meat and potatoes – and the Christian and Islamic references are just tacked onto that as an afterthought.

Everything else they preach – whether that’s Obama’s “Five Pillars holding up the foundation of sand”, or Louis Farrakhan’s “Mother Wheel” spaceship – none of that is SUPPOSED to make any sense. They just keep spouting as much gibberish as possible so nobody takes all that stuff about killing white people too seriously.

The obama is also mistaken if he thinks freedom and the pursuit of happiness is paralleled with Liberty, Equality, and Brotherhood. The French revolution had a communist element before communism even formally existed. The Jacobins, the original leftists, championed the idea of equality of all men, eschewing the idea of an American meritocracy, who in turn, need to form a union, or brotherhood, to stave off the “oppressive yoke” of the bourgeois.

That is not part of the founding fathers American ideology or philosophy. In America, while all men are born equal, they are not maintained that way by the state. And there certainly was no call for a brotherhood. There was no ideal of class warfare that was the hallmark of the French revolution. They only reason why France didn’t become the world’s first communist state, was because the Jacobins themselves were executed, and Napoleon arrived and instituted his own code. But that talk of Liberty, Equality, Brotherhood would be echoed again in Czarist Russia. We know what happened there.

That is scary talk, obama. Either you are ignorant of basic high school history, or you are a leftist.

What worries me most, is Zero’s seemingly incessant efforts to pull Islam into the mainstream of American politics and policy. Those happy few that dispute my concerns that Islam informs his worldview might wish to consider what he has in mind. ;)

What is the point of that “parable” supposed to be? As near as I can tell, all that says is that Barak Hussein Obama knows less about architecture than he knows about Christianity. And he knows even less about economics.

However, there is another meaning to the Five Pillars, as it may also refer to a puzzle, which requires a certain pattern of looping back and forth in order to untangle. I only bring this up because Obama often seems so puzzling. And then, another name for this puzzle is “The Devil’s Staircase.” However any association between that particular name, Obama’s strange religious references, and our country’s fate under Obama is purely coincidental.

Mixing Christ’s Building on a Rock parable with the symbolism of the Five Pillars in order to promote an economic policy is a very puzzling thing to do.

1) I interpret the Building on a Rock parable quite differently than Obama. Using non-religious language, here’s the way I see it:

The wise man does not and cannot create the Rock upon which to build his house. The rock is there, and it is the wise man who seeks it, can find it, and then builds upon it.

The creations of man are also made of rock. However, they are a seemingly endless supply of tiny rocks that form the continuously shifting sands of human beliefs, opinions and tastes. It is the foolish man who will not see these sands for what they are, and chooses to build upon them as if they are a foundation of rock.

So, when Obama uses this parable to say we cannot build on the same “pile of sand,” but must “lay a new foundation” upon which to build, I interpret this to mean he is going to build upon a brand new pile of sand, a different pile of sand. And lo and behold, his economic plan is to build massive government programs on massive government debt. It’s a shining temple built on quicksand.

2) When Obama refers to the Five Pillars, is this an Sunni Islamic reference? If so, these pillars are religious commands that must be followed upon pain of severe punishment. And it is interesting that our country does seem to be moving toward a centralized state command and control economy. Everywhere such an economy has been enforced, the people suffer. So, perhaps this interpretation of his words is correct.

There is something that happened yesterday. Obama had an ecomomic press conference where he labeled his economic recovery plan “The Five Pillars,” which is a foundational element of Islamic theology. He then proceeded to mangle a biblical allegory, the house built upon sand/rock, while incorporating Islamic theology into it. Here is a snippet from the White House web page:

Now, there’s a parable at the end of the Sermon on the Mount that tells the story of two men. The first built his house on a pile of sand, and it was soon destroyed when a storm hit. But the second is known as the wise man, for when “the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.”

It was founded upon a rock. We cannot rebuild this economy on the same pile of sand. We must build our house upon a rock. We must lay a new foundation for growth and prosperity — a foundation that will move us from an era of borrow and spend to one where we save and invest; where we consume less at home and send more exports abroad.

It’s a foundation built upon five pillars that will grow our economy and make this new century another American century: Number one, new rules for Wall Street that will reward drive and innovation, not reckless risk-taking — (applause); number two, new investments in education that will make our workforce more skilled and competitive — (applause); number three, new investments in renewable energy and technology that will create new jobs and new industries — (applause); number four, new investments in health care that will cut costs for families and businesses; and number five, new savings in our federal budget that will bring down the debt for future generations. He also has a Five Pillars plan for education that he has been mentioning for a month or so. I guess Zero has concluded that not only aren’t we a Christian nation, but that we are trending Islamic as well.

Bush could mangle a sentence with the best of them but at least he knew what he was talking about. Take away Obama’s Teleprompter and he’s got nothing. That blank look he had…he seems to genuinely not have the slightest clue about what came next.

That’s what my two stepkids, 15 and 20, appear to believe.

Too bad there is nothing at all for the comedians and political cartoonists to make fun of Obama with, right?.

But seriously, if Obama doesn’t even know what he is going to read off of the teleprompter beforehand, which is quite obvious when he goes blank during a malfunction, how sincere can his pretty words really be? The words are not coming from his heart. They are scrolling across a teleprompter. When the words stop scrolling, he goes completely blank…deer in the headlights blank. The words are merely clever marketing phrases conjured up by David Axelfraud and his propaganda machine, who in Obama, found the perfect product pitchman.
