I’m hoping that the wee little smiley there is your tongue-in-cheek way of saying, “just kidding.” Otherwise, you just sound like an annoyingly insecure woman who isn’t really sure of her own intellectual prowess…or appearance.

To me, this is one of the worst examples of faux feminism. Way to denigrate another woman to boost your own sorry self image! Oldest and most embarrassingly pitiable play in the book. Way to go!

Man, that’s the problem with so many of these tea parties, they turned it into a referendum against Obama instead of attacking both parties.

The man at the end indicates why Obama is the lightning rod for this whole thing — he’s the current guy in office asking for trillions, requiring banks to take stimulus funds (so that the banks that really need the funds are screened from runs), and then demanding the right, in return for them having taken the stimulus, to have a say in their day-to-day operations, up to and including their employee compensation. The man’s point (before he is rudely cut off): we have a right to the fruits of our own labor, and the government is ending that right.

There’s another reason why Obama is the target — almost three million in income, and about $80K in taxes — for a nominal tax rate of 3%. Then he wants to take more from those of us earning less, to prop up his co-millionaires; he’s up there at the point where the fancy loopholes kick in, and he wants to stop the rest of us from going there.

Liberte, egalete, fraternite, eh?

Yesterday we watched this sac of vinegar make a beeline to a guy holding an “Obama is a fascist” sign (ignoring hundreds of other people, by the way) and give him a piece of her mind about how “offensive” that……

During WWII, a strange alliance took place where the Capitlaists aligned with the communists to defeat the fascists. During the war, the communists couldn’t really run down the capitalists. After the war, the communists started in on the capitalists, but ended up with epithets like “capitalist running dog lackeys” which was laughed at by most of the world.

Since the socialists/democrats are descendants of the communists, they couldnt insult themselves with dumb communist epithets, so they adopted fascist, which everybody hated because of the war. By overusing this word, they have exencially detached it from reality and their children, via the universities, use it mindlessly. When conservatives try to apply the old and true meaning of the word they are denounced. Allah, I generally agree with you on the overuse of the word, but when do fascist tendencies, even in a socialist, mark a fascist. Used against Bush, if it walks like a duck, and talks like a duce its a….
