Onion exclusive: Media can’t find an angle on Obama’s double homicide

The meat is too red and the comedy too gold to leave this languishing in Headlines. They deserve boatloads of traffic for the effort; forward the link to a media-hating conservative in your life.
Like Karl says, the sweetest part is that they used the names of editors known to inhabit the deepest parts of the Obama tank.
“What exactly is the news hook here?” asked Rick Kaplan, executive producer of the CBS Evening News. “Is this an upbeat human-interest story about a ‘day in the life’ of a bloodthirsty president who likes to kill people? Or is it more of an examination of how Obama’s unusual upbringing in Hawaii helped to shape the way he would one day viciously butcher two helpless citizens in their own home?”
“Or maybe the story is just that murder is cool now,” Kaplan continued. “I don’t know. There are a million different angles on this one.”

The funniest thing is that usually it’s a grain of truth to make something funny. This is using the whole sandbox. The smallest part of the article is the only part that isn’t true, Obama’s murderous tendencies. At least I hope that’s the false part.

I’ve just read a letter from a man who recently toured Israel. His guide allowed one hour at the Holocaust Memorial. His guide returned 90 minutes later to find him hardly past the entrance. When the tour guide asked why he’d progressed no further, the man responded that he was stunned by the parallels between Nazi Germany of the 1930′s and the United States of 2009.
I realize some HA readers are irritated by my repeated references to the city of Jerusalem, but frankly, reading today’s headlines and the writings of Hebrew prophets from over 2,000 years ago, well, the accuracy of the prophets makes my head spin. Couple this with the recent statements coming from B. Hussein Obama and Joe “Kinock” Biden. With them both tripping over each other in their race to do some major Iranian ass-kissing, I expect to see Israel thrown under the bus any day.
