i’m getting paranoid. First there is this hackjob of a report, which places me on several “lists” out there because of various of my beliefs and understandings of the world, not the least of which involves a clear understanding of fiscal responsibility. Then, I start seeing trolls coming out of the woodwork – like worms – here at HA, writing and commenting like their opinions should mean jack to any of us. Did this result from opening the GreenRoom? If so, I just want to say I thought it was a bad idea from the start … it just attracts the rabble. Otherwise, they’ve planted spies to keep an eye on us, and they’re breeding back in there…

As a sidelight, this little gem:

Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates denied permission for the U.S. Northern Command to use the Pentagon’s most powerful sea-based radar to monitor North Korea’s recent missile launch, precluding officials from collecting finely detailed launch data or testing the radar in a real-time crisis, current and former defense officials said.

Jamie Graybeal, Northcom public affairs director, confirmed to The Washington Times that Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart, the Northcom commander, requested the radar’s use but referred all other questions to the Pentagon.

Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman said Mr. Gates’ decision not to use the $900 million radar, known as SBX, was “based on the fact that there were numerous ground- and sea-based radars and sensors in the region to support the operational requirements for this launch.”

Groups like the American Legion, the VFW, and others are often made fun of as fuddy duds, but it is times like these I appreciate the members and their leaders who step up and advocate for the side of our freedom fighters, the U.S. Mililtary

They also remind me my nation is still populated by people who love it dearly. That is a good feeling

The other side looks as small and pathetic as they really are, when these grand old seniors face them off with honor
