Classic TEMS: Rep. Kevin McCarthy, Christopher & Howe, Andrew Malcolm

posted at 1:30 pm on April 9, 2009 by Ed Morrissey

Today, I’ll be doing my taxes and preparing for seppoku, so we won’t have a live show today. Instead, I’ll offer this Classic TEMS episode from last week, when we had Rep. Kevin McCarthy join us to talk about how conservatives can rebound in the next two years. Rep. Eric Cantor was supposed to be our guest, but he couldn’t make it — and we had a great chat.

Andrew Malcolm joined us in the first half, and we finished up with Tommy Christopher & Caleb Howe, doing what they do best — debating! Enjoy, and I’ll be back tomorrow.

Now you can join the conversation in the chat room! Be sure to register at Ustream to participate in our raucous live-chat sessions. (And if the log-in prompt doesn’t come up in the chat box below, use this link instead.) Jazz Shaw of The Moderate Voice moderates the chat, and he has his Troll Gun Trivia Contest running before the show, for those who get there early — and are registered!

Ed you sure procrastinated this year to do your taxes. Why let Obama keep your money longer than necessary?

I’m enjoying hearing your name dropped on many of the biggest radio talk shows lately. Way-duh-go Ed!

How is that different, if at all, from harikari? <—-one word? two?

Seppuku is with a ceremonial dagger…. harakiri is with a sword….

We did our taxes early…it’s a snap when you’re poor! We’ve even gotten back our $300 TARP-Stimulus (ha ha) refund from the IRS. I considered tearing the check up…but, it would just be $300 more Hussein could funnel to ACORN.
