But if you assume that someone is that willfully deceptive, then why on earth would you think he’d feel honor-bound to enlist a “real” anonymous person with an unverifiable resume to spread propaganda for him? That makes no sense.

Of course it’s POSSIBLE that this guy was a veteran and Republican voter. For all I know, he also single-handedly took San Juan Hill and convinced Ronald Reagan to enter politics. I have no proof that any of that is untrue.

All I’m saying is that is all IMPROBABLE. And once you know that someone is telling you lies, that’s the only criterion that matters.

And the odds against this guy being anything like genuine end up in the high trillions.

I think there’s a chance that the guy is an amateur nut case instead of a professional astroturfer.

My completely unsubstantiated theory is that he’s an older guy — Korean War vet, perhaps (did he mention in which war he served? I don’t have the patience to listen to him again) — who considers himself to be “conservative” because his personal values are traditional and he voted for a Republican once or twice in his life. I think he may have voted for McCain without giving it much thought, but now regrets it because he’s being inundated by liberal talking points both from the media and his own family (probably one or two of his kids who were “shocked” that he voted for McCain and are telling good old dad he’s probably a closet racist). He is sincerely worried about the country and sees that Obama is failing but he has latched on to the notion that the reason Obama is failing has something to do with hate-filled conservatives like Rush… and Levine, whoever the heck that it.

Rush should have asked him to explain why he voted for McCain. You can usually tell the astroturfers by their answer to that question.

Anything’s possible, but the odds of that are literally millions to one.

If somebody were JUST stupid, without a politcal axe to grind, then he’d be just as likely to call Rush Limbaugh to complain about how his shoes are on the wrong foot again as anything else.

But instead he just HAPPENS to decide to tell us all that he’s a rock-ribbed Republican war hero who thinks Rush Limbaugh, Shawn Hannity, and everyone who criticizes Barak Obama is a “Nazi”? …And he closes with the ever-popular: “Oh, and btw, did I mention that I’m a rock-ribbed Republican?”

Sorry; not even remotely plausible. Remember, the odds of stacking those “random” non-sequiturs don’t add together; they multiply exponentially. And the odds against this guy being anything like genuine end up in the high trillions.

I love Rush precisely because he lets callers like this go on and make asses of themselves.

I don’t have a lot of patience for that. I mean, it’s not like there’s a SHORTAGE of psychotic moonbats in the media these days.

If a guest is being brilliant, let him go on forever. The “vast wasteland” could use a lot more landscaping.

But if somebody’s a complete idiot, you can stop him after just a few seconds and spend a half hour disecting all the insane assumptions behind even the tiniest fragment of liberal propaganda.

I don’t tune into Rush Limbaugh because I want to listen to random moonbats. If this self-proclaimed “American Hero” gets his own show, then he has a right to rant as long as he wants to HIS fans.

But on the channel I listen to, the Rush Limbaugh show is interrupted 11 times a day by ABC News, repeating all of the current Daily Kos bullet points verbatim each and every one of those 11 times. And I don’t see why they need a few more amateur moonbat callers to help them out.

I find that most of the “concerned Christian conservatives” assert that they are conservative (or at least voted against Obama) without providing any rationale for their position. Instead, they segue into one or two talking points, which tend to be based on erroneuos information.

But I concede that he may just be stupid.

In this case we have a guy who keeps referring to “Levine” when he means “Levin” has no first-hand knowledge of the other conservative radio host who was supposedly so detrimental to the Republicans. That certainly speaks to his knowledge and, because it fits in with the Dems’ game plan of attacking the conservative radio voices, it suggests that he is an astroturfer.

Then he brings up Rush’s primary election tactic of encouraging Republicans to vote for Hillary, without mentioning it by name, but fails to explain how that led to Obama winning the general election.

He cites deaths from torture twice, but fails to back up his claim with a source. And, of course, McCain was clearly on the record as opposing torture, so again there is no connection between Rush’s opinion and the results of the election.

As I said, he may just be stupid, but he seems awfully worked up over nothing. He resorts to using the ultimate smear (Nazi) against Rush — which was totally uncalled for, so I assume that he must be very upset. If most of the conservatives I know were to have a chance to talk with the folks they felt were responsible for Obama winning the election, they’d spend at least some of the time venting about why they were upset about Obama winning. Instead, not a word of criticism about Obama passed this guy’s lips.

But maybe he’s just an idiot.

I’m still trying to figure out how Rush lost the election though. That’s a knee slapper. 98% of blacks voted for Barack Obama because of Rush Limbaugh’s support of torture??

You really don’t have a clue, do you? Hundreds of prisoners from all armed conflicts died during questioning or captivity. That doesn’t mean they all died from torture. These alleged “human rights groups” are notorioulsy anti US and I wouldn’t believe a quarter of the drivel they spout. In most cases, they obtain their information from “sources” that hold some kind of grudge against the organization they are informing on. As for the Red Cross (are you sure it wasn’t the Red Crescent?), they are a joke. Have been for years. They do some good here in the States, but the Salvation Army does a much better job.

Have you ever given any consideration to our soldiers and citizens that have been captured, tortured and killed by the animals we are fighting? Nah, didn’t think so.
