Tyra Banks: Let’s applaud the Johnstons for talking trash about the Palins for free

I thought they were low-rent in taking money from a tabloid talk show to dish about the other half of little Tripp’s family, but now that I know they were doing it gratis, for the sheer sport of it, well, that changes everything.
The media’s having a grand old time snickering about this story, as they’ll continue to do with anything that plays into their narrative of Palin being the center of some sort of freak show (see, e.g., the turkey clip they all love so much). You’d think the Johnstons would be sensitive enough to that, at least, to sit with a respectable journalist if they were intent on stooping to a tell-all. Instead they went with the trashiest venue they could find this side of Springer. What happened? Was “Maury” all booked up?
Word today from the Washingtonian is that Sarahcuda and Bristol may do some dishing of their own, albeit on more useful subjects. Click the image to watch.

I am watching the show from this morning right now. Tyra is just GLEEFUL that she has a chance to trash the Palins.
The sister is all upset Bristol doesn’t like her because the sister is still friends with some of Levi’s ex girlfriends.
Peyton Place. They are all upset that they can’t see the baby that much.
Moral of the story, KEEP YOUR PENIS ZIPPED UP UNTIL YOU ARE MARRIED AND CAN SUPPORT YOUR CHILDREN AND THE MOTHER OF YOUR CHILDREN AND YOU CAN THEN SEE YOUR KID EVERY DAY AND HAVE A SAY SO ON HOW IT IS BEING RAISED.
The grandma is crying because apparently the Palin’s don’t trust her to not sell the pictures to tabloids for pay.
I feel sorry that Bristol has to have all this aired out on national TV.

Let’s start our own private little club conservatives…. We live all over this country, so let’s get trash on democrats and media types. We can be peaceful and talk to people that know things. We can frequent places these people go. It’s time to dishing dirt on the democrats on line. Someone come up with a clever website to do just that. Only truths reported, but I could find out a few things on democrats and reporters where I live. I know lots and lots and lots and lots of people that know lots and lots and lots of people. I just heard a rumor that Levi’s Dad is being harrassed about this. Which is sad since Levi’s Dad tried to get him a job, if you all don’t recall, on the slope and he quite due to the Media pressure for not having a HS diploma.
I have come to the conclussion that Levi is just a brat… who will be like most 40 yr old men I know who aren’t married or have been married 3 times or more, and you don’t want to have anything to do with them.

Trouble for Levi and his clan is that by 2012 his fifteen minutes of fame will be up, and his kid will be four years old. Bristol might even have found a decent guy by that time. Levi would come across as the loser ex many people are used to and ignore whenever possible.
I do hope she’s filed for child support right now. Make this creep get a job, any job. He wants fame from being a father – act like a father.

Don’t be so sure. I wouldn’t be surprised if media outlets brought him on as a contributor. In the very least, he’ll be doing the interview rounds as the media reminds people of what happened four years ago.

The Palins have signed a book deal to get paid for their story. Levi and family are giving it up just for the chance to sit next to Tyra. Seems like one is a little sharper than the other.

No moral expectations for women, huh? Please. Bristol does not “have to have all this aired.” She had the same choices as Levi did — wrap his thing, plug her thing or take pills to kill the peepee tadpoles.
The moralizing that is about to erupt is going to explode into a bad press year for the Palins. I’m glad for the baby in that Bristol has such good support. But both parents, Bristol and Levi, are culpable for the situation.
Sarah Palin should not be blamed for Bristol and Levi’s baby drama. But this is going to leave her publicly frustrated and not in the best light for a 2008 campaign.

You’re assuming he won’t get a book deal of his own. I’m sure there’s a publisher willing to make money off of telling the story of the kid who knocked up the Alaskan Governor’s daughter. Especially if Palin is nominated in ’12. And there are plenty of lefties who’ll buy it.
Agreed that both are responsible. He’s trash for airing it, of course. But Bristol shouldn’t be portrayed as an innocent, moral victim who was taken advantage of.
