I thought they were low-rent in taking money from a tabloid talk show to dish about the other half of little Tripp’s family, but now that I know they were doing it gratis, for the sheer sport of it, well, that changes everything.
The media’s having a grand old time snickering about this story, as they’ll continue to do with anything that plays into their narrative of Palin being the center of some sort of freak show (see, e.g., the turkey clip they all love so much). You’d think the Johnstons would be sensitive enough to that, at least, to sit with a respectable journalist if they were intent on stooping to a tell-all. Instead they went with the trashiest venue they could find this side of Springer. What happened? Was “Maury” all booked up?
Word today from the Washingtonian is that Sarahcuda and Bristol may do some dishing of their own, albeit on more useful subjects. Click the image to watch.

If you do, you will note that a number of these pyschotic Palintologists are calling YOU out for not banning people who are not into Palintology…in other words, they want you to ban people that have the capacity to think beyond a 4th grade level.
In their hatred towards you, which as history teaches us in part and parcel with cult-like behavior, they are calling you out for your requirement that people not engage in racial name-calling such as the calling of Ms. Obama a “Wookie” and other racially-charged insults that put the great Hot Air site and its terrific management in a very poor light.
My suggestion is to read the last few pages of this thread and ban all the trolls that insist on calling you out for not being part of their cult and that justify their subsequent racial name-calling by insisting that any criticism of that sad train-wreck, Ms. Sarah Palin, is similar to their calling Ms. Obama racial epithets.
Frankly, they are spitting in your face. These clowns make claims such as you have ruined Hot Air and other absurd comments. Then they use the words which have been justifiably banned, “wookie”, etc., to a vain attempt to prove their worthiness before Xenu Sarah Palin.
Again, ban these bastards. Free the normal people of Hot Air from being forced to deal with the verbal assaults and harrasment from these poor, sad deluded souls. This is a case where tough love should have a positive impact.
Finally, since I am brighter than all these Palintologists and religious nuts, I am well aware that you are being inundated with emails from these Palintologists asking for the banning of people who are not willing to join them in their Palintology cult and who have the audacity to attempt to explain to them the hypocrisy and general clown-like behavior of their own private Xenu…Sarah Palin. I am quite aware that even me, The Wall, has been the subject of numerous emails from these clowns. I am sure the spelling and logic in these emails is comical.
However, unlike them, and unlike all people who engage in cult-like behavior, I do not make this request in SECRET but do it out in the open in non-cultlike transparency.

I actually enjoyed his post.
It was an inspired bit of comedic performance art – a self-aware troll trying to be both cheeky and so over-the-top silly as to be self-parodying.
I should have seen this earlier when he claimed to be a theological giant yet couldn’t grasp the concept of sanctifying grace.
It was, by far, his most entertaining post of the day.

As noted earlier, AP has mentioned not to use certain terms for the Alaska Gov. He did throw out one or two warnings in this thread. Haven’t rechecked the earlier 1,000+ thread to see if he commented there.
As far as him reading “the last few pages” of this thread, I find it… suspicious… that he would be unaware of what is happening on the most active part of his website.
I’m not a blog expert, but in every field I’ve worked in the areas with the most activity generally require the most management.
I can understand if he doesn’t read all or most of the comments immediately. However, the pattern of “throw out the Palin chum and watch the
sharkstrolls show up” is pretty well established by now. He has to know the edge of the envelope will be pushed in these threads.Unless he’s busy with all the 500+ comment threads on other topics?

Not every criticism leveled against Gov. Palin was a smear.
That said, a great majority where – from “I can see Russia from my house” to her “belief” that dinosaurs lived with cavemen and her “burning” of books.
Those who dislike Gov. Palin would do well to understand that over-attacking a target (especially by and with egregious lies) will more often than not engender a backlash of support – which is exactly what is happening here.

I think young Levi is just about to figure out that actions have consequences.

You DO realize that Tina Fey’s comment was then (purposefully?) misunderstood to be something that Gov. Palin said.
The same thing with the book burning (which evolved from a pretty standard general inquiry about whether books COULD be removed if found to be objectionable).
The same thing with dinosaurs living with cavemen (which evolved from a comment she made about her belief that intelligent design should be discussed IF brought up by a student).
I think all of these could pretty well be described as “smears.”
