N Korea is in the business of selling rocket technology, namely to anti-American, rogue nations like Iran, who some Pentagon officials believe were in N Korea for the launch.

Because it successfully deployed Stage 2, as opposed to 3 years ago when it didnt last 40 seconds – the concern is the test was enough to garner $$$ for ICBM R&D.

As I mentioned yesterday – take out Kim, all installations – and you cut the head off the snake. As I also mentioned yesterday – China couldnt give a rats ass about the N Koreans – in fact are more concerned with N Koreans flooding the Chinese border to safety and causing a depletion of resources, being the estimates are 1.5M-2M refugees fleeing N Korea.

China does not have the upper hand, though they feign it well.

Allahpundit, why must you always play devil’s advocate? Is that it?

Terrorism doesn’t necessarily mean hitting all available targets, but merely getting their message out there and of course, instilling fear in a populace, causing mistrust and infighting and mobilizing the Left who are sympathetic to your cause and unsympathetic to Democracy and Conservatism.

Just showing that they could carry out a major attack was a big deal, and that thought will always loom in the back of our minds. Also, 9-11 set into motion a series of events that led to the re-election of Jimmy Carter, so that in itself may be enough for them…for now anyway.

Still, the other aspect of terrorism is that it’s unpredictable. When it doesn’t happen, or if they are stopped, then what is predictable is that the Left will go on about the ‘culture of fear’ that Conservatives use to gain power and bring Nazi/Fascist rule and talk about how they ‘cry wolf’ once too often and that it is we who are the real terrorists.

Works like a charm.

Once the cons give him the GOP nomination he will do another photo shoot with Nanners on the loveseat and do some climate fearmongering to get everyone else on board.

I doubt that, as the US didn’t even bother to use it’s best monitoring system on the NK missile test, according to the LA Times:
