[...] Apparently, it’s not enough to skip checking the stats for Hsu. He has to wax poetic about “an iron river of guns,” which in the end makes him and his patented Layers of Fact-Checkers and Editors look all the more foolish. Because, as we know and the ATF has already admitted, that statistic is just plain false.
Only an idiot would believe we're supplying the cartels with weapons. Thus whoever started this thing rolling thinks we're idiots.

That's a little offensive... though with all the crap they've been able to pull it might be justified. Time will tell on this one. I just hope my peers prove this guy wrong by being sharper then a bag full of hammers.

Kinda like that 1st “cell phones and driving don’t mix”

In the study they asked folks who were involved in a traffic accident had cell phones with them at the time of the accident?

Then, ONLY used folks that had a cell phone, eliminating all others.

Then they asked them if “they had used their cell phones within 15 min. of the accident".

Amazingly the VAST majority HAD ACTUALLY used their phone within 15 min. of the accident.

What they DIDN’T ask if that “15 min” time frame was BEFORE the accident OR After the accident?

I mean like hey, what reason could someone possibly have to use their cell phone AFTER the accident?

I heard today that 60% were in fact Military Weapons that WE had supplied to the Mexican Army “to fight the drug war” so technically they are coming from America.

Well, that is a far cry from having American arms smuggled into Mexico by the cartels. That is more a measure of the incompetence and corruption of the Mexican government than problems here. The only problem that indicates here in America, is that our politicians love to misrepresent things to the American people.

The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives recently reported that up to 95 percent of guns seized at scenes of drug violence in Mexico can be traced to U.S. commercial sources.

Anyone actually been to a gun show? Anyone who has actually bought a gun? Anyone who did, how many of you didn't fill out the yellow sheet?

Case closed, as far as I am concerned. These illegal weapons come from criminals stealing them from legal owners and not from legitimate purchases in the U.S. Now I know that isn't news to any serious HotAirHeads. Just thought I'd state the obvious to you Huffington fools before I demostrate my property rights.

Why would Hezbollah be selling weapons? They can’t produce guns themselves. I’d have thought they would be looking to buy arms.

Did I say SELLING? NO I didn't, I said MOVING guns into Mexico. That means PROCUREMENT. We know that Hezbollah is involved with the Mexican Cartels now, we know China runs the Ports in Mexico, we ALSO know that Venezuela funnels money and arms to leftist revolutionaries who work closely with Columbian and Mexican Drug cartels and Venezuela opened a manufacturing facility last September that produces AK rifles and RPG-7s.

"We probably can discount any mathematical calculations made by the Barack Obama administration after we discovered that they overstated the TARP funds by a hundred billion dollars, but consider this just an extra data point."

This administration only uses one significant figure. For dollars the significant figure is trillions.

The gangs most likely steal their hardware from the Mexican Army. In any case there are many sources for weapons aside from the US.

I have been trying to educate posters on Hot Air for about a month that these reports were a lie and the actual report says only 17% of the 6% of firearms found in Mexico came from the U.S., do the math, that's 1.02 %. This is ALL propaganda from Eric Holder, Janet Napalitano, BATF&E, Rhom Emmanuel and the O'bunghole administration to attempt to attack the Second Amendment and pass Unconstitutional gun laws. Shades of WACO when the Brady Bill and The Assault Weapon ban were dead on arrival to the House of Representitives but were revived after the fraudulent attack on the Mount Carmel compound.

Too bad idiot RINOs like Newt Gingrich swilled the koolaid of leftist propaganda.

Leftists lie....it's what they do.

This is the same lie that is being told by Canadian media about guns in Canada. Blame big bad America for their gun crime, while at the same time not acknowledging that in fact most of the guns are NOT American made.... and of course NOT wanting to connect their lax attitude about drug use to the crime in the first place.
It's just so much easier to point fingers at the big bad American boogey man.

This is the same lie that is being told by Canadian media about guns in Canada. Blame big bad America for their gun crime, while at the same time not acknowledging that in fact most of the guns are NOT American made…. and of course NOT wanting to connect their lax attitude about drug use to the crime in the first place.
It’s just so much easier to point fingers at the big bad American boogey man.

Cheaper Than Dirt is among the worst on the market right now in terms of gouging their customers during this shortage.

They’ve lost me as a customer.

Midway USA is out, and so are most other distributors. Even Academy has a 4 box purchase limit. Something is up because people are hoarding ammo.

What I'm not sure of is are people hoarding because they are afraid they won't be able to get ammo in the future, or are they afraid they will have to use it to save the country from a domestic enemy.

The Obama government in crushing the rights of US citizens more and more every day. More government, less rights.

The second ammendment was designed to keep the people in charge, and that scares the left wing socialists that are in charge now.

Stay tuned, it should get interesting.

Just google gunsmithing course and several options pop up. Then you don't have to "go" anywhere!
