Thanks to the announcement of FASB rules changes on mark-to-market. Something Obama could’ve worked on DAY ONE in office. But hell, Obama can’t even hire staff. You can’t expect him to know about economics, or diplomacy, or NCAA brackets, or protocol, or media relations ALREADY.

getalife – why not defend Obama on his campaign promises? How’s that “most ethical White House” going? How about the “no lobbyist” rule? Or the new age of transparency (would that include talking to the press?) Or the end of politics as usual (which used to be called the politics of personal destruction). The end of partisanship. Not a single dime of new taxes for 95% of Americans.

How’s Obama doing on those promises? I mean, Obama himself said he doesn’t watch the markets, and things are going to get worse. So watching the Dow isn’t evidence of anything other than restrained (free? cmon) markets at work. What’s your favorite Obama accomplishment so far?

Her newspaper spiked a story about Obama’s relationship with ACORN, ran several nasty stories about the GOP candidate, whom they chose, and totally ignored Obama’s lack of experience, candor, or defining principles. You wanted to elect the empty suit, you live with the consequences. Suffer with the rest of us, Helene. Nobody will ask the questions America wants, so why should your trivial softballs be suffered by the One?

They NY Times and WaPo staff should roll down to the nearby monuments to “overseas contingency operations”. Because there IS right and wrong in the world. And the REAL bad guys, the ones who we’re letting out of GITMO, and their friends, have already promised a big surprise for us.

What did Europe’s love affair with Obama get us? More help to fight the “real war” in Afghanistan? Help with Iran? No. For all the bluster about Obama bringing the world together, the rest of the planet still wants America to fail.

The truly sad part? I think Obama might want us to fail, too.
