the head of the RNC (ha) or someone needs to get the Repubs together & choose the one NOW that has the best chance to beat Dodd.

Not gonna happen.

CT GOP voted for Lieberman by a huge margin because our guy had no chance, even in a three dog race.

If Lamont could drive us all to vote for the lesser of two liberals, what do you think his chances would be in a contest against a relative conservative? With strong legislative experience? In a two dog race?

And that’s just the CT GOPers. The majority of INDIES voted against that clown. The only people who voted Lamont were the Yellow Dog dems and the leftwing indies.

In Connecticut…we’re kind flaky that way. Send hacks like Wiecker and Dodd, but eventually, we get tired of the bozo and then it’s time to go. (See Wiecker’s loss to Lieberman in ‘88…yeah, I know, two years later the state workers elected him gov. in a three horse race…he got spiked after one term though.) We send them packing. Only exception to this rule is Districts 1 and 3, which are controlled by Dem machines, but we get more turnover than you think when it comes to sending people to Capitol Hill.

2010…three GOP house reps (Takin’ back 2,4 and 5, bank on it) and a GOP senator to go with them.

The state’s bleeding and generally, that stirs the state GOP and even gets the indies out of their “vote for the incumbant” default setting. Plus there’s other issues at hand in here locally that’ll pretty much have reached critical mass by next year.

We’ll never be as red as would be ideal, but we can help buttress the house and senate caususses when neccessary…and not with total RINOs either.

It’s not so hard to imagine, truthfully. I’ve hated pulling the level year after year of Arlen S. But the alternative of losing the seat was more frighting than him and his RINO antics. I guess Donks look at their crooks the same way.

I would love to see term limits, no matter who is in office. Two terms, you’re out. That’s the only way we can rid the country of these rump legislators. But how, when they’re the ones that have to vote on it? Talk about a catch 22.

Agree with some posts that removing Dems from office may be impossible seeing what has happened in MN, NY and in Murtha’s district. Soros and ACORN seem to have this tied up. But do we just let it go at that? Join the Tea Party. Get rid of all incumbants and get term limits in the Constitution! If not now, when?

The Great One was on local radio this morning with a pledge to come campaign against Dingy Harry. Reid is vulnerable. He almost lost to Ensign who foolishly didn’t call for a recount of an election he lost by a mere 600+ votes.

The last time Dingy got in, it was because Nevada was promised that he would be great for NV since he would be majority leader. That won’t fly this time, he hasn’t done a thing for us.

As for Dodd….we all though Murtha couldn’t get reelected. Were we wrong.
