Huckabee said McAuliffe is overreacting to his recent comments in Virginia.

(CNN) – Mike Huckabee shot back at Terry McAuliffe late Thursday after the former DNC chairman and Virginia gubernatorial candidate accused Huckabee of encouraging voter suppression.

“As someone who served as a Governor for 10 years, I can say if these are the type of things Terry McAuliffe worries about and make him break down and cry, then he won’t last 10 days as Governor much less four years and he doesn’t deserve the people of Virginia’s vote,” Huckabee said in a statement to CNN.

The joke in the oval office is what happens when you let petulant juveniles vote.

The real joke isn’t a politician with folksy humor about tire pressure. The real joke is a presidential candidate whose platform for tackling high gas prices revolved around tire pressure–or possibly the joke is on the U.S. for electing that man president in spite of this.

“Hate” is such a strong word, Allah. I am personally glad that Huck didn’t get the nomination, but it wasn’t anything personal against Huck.

By the way, who did we have running that would have been more electable? The Republican party was, and still is, in shambles.

Even if Huck wasn’t joking, it wouldn’t work.

And McAuliffe would have a point that Republicans are trying to suppress the vote by sabotaging the vehicles

However, spray-painting the words “sucker,” “stupid,” or “moron Democrat” on any car with a McAuliffe bumper sticker, would not prevent the vehicles from being driven to the polls. And, it would be a valid expression of free speech (or street art), as practiced by ACORN. So they (and the Dems) couldn’t complain, cause that’s the sort of thing they do. And it would work. Think about it: Would you like everybody in town to know you’re a “self-admitted” idiot? Of course not. And unlike replacing the air in the tires (5 minutes with an air compressor and tank – remember, he said let the air out, not slash the tires), the “morons” (I won’t call them victims) displaying the freedom of speech artwork on their vehicles would remain on view for days.

Yes, folks, I’m just kidding. Raise your blarney shields.

Of course the liberals at politico think it’s a big deal. I must have missed the expose they did about acorn receiving 4 billion dollars in the stimulas bill. politico has been been biased from their start up and the way they have been accepted by so called “conservative” commentators has been troubling. They went from 0 to 90 literally overnight yet no one has answered one important question; who supplied their start up money? They are argueably one of the most quoted news sources these days yet they have an obvious liberal slant. Has media matters or any of the other soros fronts ever attacked the politico? Nope.

Huck’s joke was great. People will overreact on the left and MSM.

Do the right thing. Friends don’t let friends (or anybody) vote Dem. It was really a needed public service announcement.

Not a big deal, but I have to wonder how Republicans would take it if a Democrat had made the joke about Republicans. Especially with the “Do the Lord’s work” bit thrown in.

Not me. It was clearly a joke and everyone knew it but it’s the kind of thing that dems and the media will use against him. I would call it an unforced error. I don’t hate Huck but I wish he could have found it in himself to drop out of the race when it became clear he had no chance to win. I voted for Romney because I thought he had more experience, a better record of success, and a more presidential demeanor than Huck.
