Are government-backed car warranties anything like (ahem) government-backed mortgages? For this, and a slow-death bankruptcy, future generations will have to owe billions? How much more (minus the billions in bailout) might it have cost had Congress not meddled and just let GM go bankrupt on its own to begin with? And why fire a multi-million dollar payout exec if you know you're headed to bankruptcy? Aside from chump change political cache with the peanut gallery, what was the point of that? I know this is just the first attempt at smacking TOTUS but stop spanking Matthews' cheap leg thrill and just chomp hard on that jugular already!

He is still making Bush is stupid jokes, and did last night. But to be fair, he is still making Clinton is a horn dog jokes also.

Problem is, the “horn dog” jokes at least have a basis in reality… Clinton did have an affair. Bush isn’t stupid, that’s just part of the pack of lies liberals repeat to try to influence people. And, slobbering dog that he is, Leno faithfully tells the lie. He also has probably spent more air time on Palin “seeing Russia from her house” than Tina Fey has.

Leno also likes attacking Bristol Palin. When her engagement was cancelled, Leno joked about that for several days. But I guess in his mind that’s what she deserves for being related to a Republican, right?

I usually like Leno’s monologues and the comedy skit that fills out the first half hour. But for the last month or so, my rule has been: the second joke gratuitously attacking Bush or Palin, and I switch channels (if it’s a joke about something they actually said or did, that doesn’t count). Then I email the show, tell them I switched channels to TMZ, and why.

Easy for Obama to offer a “government” warrantee on our nickel.

Since all goverenment money is actually ours, that’s the equivalent of us offering ourselves a warrantee and paying for it ourselves. To save time and hassle, we may as well personally negotiate with the mechanic for a good rate, pay for it out of pocket, and eliminate the meddling, inefficient beltway middle men.

I watched Leno last night, and have watched his monologue for several years, usually going to bed before the brain dead guests appear. I was a little surprised myself at the current administration jokes. Leno is probably the most even handed of all the late night crowd, but he still leans way left. Remember how comics complained that poking fun at Obama would be tough? Problem solved:

Let’s not go overboard here, Ed… He’s barely giving The One some jazz, and Leno has always been the “fairest” of the bunch anyway… But you’ll notice these jokes are pretty much jabs at the “government”, not the man, the way it was with Bush… and the jokes are so very very mild anyway.

As for complaining that it was too hard to make fun of him… That’s always been bogus and the fact that they aren’t ripping apart this most corrupt, lying POTUS in history is disgraceful.

I’m really surprised by Leno breaching the Wall of Silence by the tv “entertainers”. Haven’t watched those guys for years and years.
