I would love to tell Mr Maher that I was an army soldier in Germany once. I never raped anyone. As an MP, I had occasion to respond to a couple of sexual assault incidents. But for this jerk to state or imply that rapes were or are endemic to American troops in Germany, Japan or anywhere else is just plain wrong.

Ten Bill Mahers couldn’t make one US soldier, airman, sailor or Marine.

Remember the old commercial of the indian standing at the edge of a cliff looking out at all the garbage? When we see the code pinks, the acorns, the william ayers, the whatever take your pick, that is sometimes how we feel inside. Never on the outside, but sometimes like that indian, on the inside.

They have a twisted sense of patriotism. If not for the military our country would not exist and they have no gratitude.

My husband told me about this last night on the phone. He was clearly pissed off about it – we have friends stationed in Japan, and they are indeed honorable servicemen and women. I told my husband not to let it bother him, though – the mentally diseased often have no control over their outbursts, and so we shouldn’t take offense. Instead, we should feel sorry for people like Maher, as at this time, he’s too far gone for there to be a cure.

My life is a bit less stressful now that I have embraced liberalism as a mental disorder… their silly outbursts are just as uncontrollable as the tantrums of an autistic child. Just my take on things.

Bill Maher is just a joke himself. So I find it difficult to take him seriously on anything really. Regardless of whether he is panning Wall Street, the Republicans, Rush Limbaugh, or now our soldiers, he was an idiot before and he remains one now. So I cannot get too worked up over him.

I canceled my HBO long ago because of Maher, and it will never again be on my television until Maher is gone.

I had no idea this two-bit goober was still around. Last I saw him he had a lowly bit part on a “Murder,She Wrote” re-run my grandmother was watching. I think he played Roddy McDowell’s sidekick. How desperate can one get to get a role?
Maher apparently realized his lack of talent had him doomed to bit parts on tv shows. So, much like the talentless Andrew Dice Clay, he figured out that his only way to relevancy was to be an unhinged lunatic.
