Video: We’ve got your “credible” right here, Rep. Nadler
posted at 4:15 pm on March 27, 2009 by Ed Morrissey
Rep. John Conyers D-MI) shocked people when he wondered aloud during testimony in Congress about ACORN’s serial violations of election-fraud law when Congress would demand an investigation. Jerold Nadler (D-NY) attempted to get his fellow Democrat back in line by assuring him that any “credible” allegation would prompt Nadler himself to demand an investigation. A group of GOP attorneys want to take Nadler up on that challenge:
There is plenty of “credible evidence” to launch an investigation into the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN), the Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) will argue in a video to be released Friday afternoon.
House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) shut down a request by Judiciary Chairman John Conyers (D-Mich.) to launch an investigation into ACORN, with Nadler citing not enough “credible evidence” to proceed.
The RNLA video targets that claim by marshaling a bevy of news reports from throughout the country during the 2008 presidential election, in which ACORN activists were alleged to have facilitated voter fraud in their get-out-the-vote efforts.
We covered most of those stories here at Hot Air. If we missed any, it was only because so many of them popped up during the campaign. And it didn’t just happen in our imagination, either; the Attorney General of Indiana found “multiple criminal violations” committed by ACORN just in his state alone.
Isn’t that credible enough for Nadler? Or is he too much in ACORN’s grip that nothing short of a signed and videotaped confession by all of ACORN’s leadership will pique his curiosity about election fraud? Yes, that’s a rhetorical question.

Blowback

It will be fun to watch Conyers backtrack over the next 24 hours. We all know ACORN is only for organizing those friendly to Democraps. How many of those fraudulent ballots voted Republican? And wasn’t it interesting the states alleging the voter fraud were swing states?

Is there not a clip on YouTube somewhere of some shill at CNN interviewing an ACORN voter in Philadelphia on Election Day in which he admitted he voted twice, followed by the reporter chuckling jovially, “I don’t think you’re supposed to do that.”
Yeah, it’s all fun and games until you elect an IDIOT for president!
Seems like that clip ought to be all the proof one would need to hang the voter fraud charge on ACORN.

I remember how ACORN supporters would pass off allegations of voter fraud by saying, “these are just voter registration forms, not actual votes”. Well, now that it is clear that American taxpayers are funding their work, we’ll just have to see about that. In addition, as true in anything, past behaviors often dictate future behavior.

I’ve always thought that it is impossible that so many Americans have lost their common sense at one time. I don’t know anyone (other than those on welfare) who think what Obama’s been doing is a good thing. Surely ACORN (and our in-the-tank MSM) got thia incompetant socialist elected.

I so hope that someone with some authority, (or just some proof,) from ACORN has a come to Jesus moment, and rats out their fellow criminals.

Jerrold Nadler (formerly a wide as he is tall) is a partisan Democrat from New York City. It is a safe bet he is corrupt as all Hell.
ACORN supports corrupt, partisan Democrat political swine.
Conclusion: Nadler is in TIGHT with ACORN.

I still don’t understand why, after voting, we don’t require voters to plunge their right or left index finger into a well of ink, i.e. Iraq.
Make it appear invisible, until you put your finger under an ultra violet light, or something of that nature.

And, as long as it involves the Democrap party. It’s the ol’ nothing really here, moving along – let’s go back to thrill up his leg in the studio who is reporting to have heard of some possible potential voter fraud claims regarding the Republican party.
But, all hell would have broken loose, as we know, with every MSM propaganda network piling on for weeks on end DEMANDING investigations – if this involved the Republican party in any way.

President ACORN, your days are numbered. “Tea Parties?” You ain’t seen nothing yet! You are “Slip Slidin’ Away.” 52% was a marginal victory…’buyers remorse’ is chipping away at your thuggery. The Jews are waking up…your homies in the ‘hood are back to crackin’…they ain’t seen no ‘dollas’. The voting-age youth are wondering about their (MP3s) and such. In other words…the World and America are in the process of pressing your “Empty Suit.” In terms of the “World”…Biden got something right for the first time in his Congressional Legal-Stealing-Plagiarizing life (“Within Six Months”). Thanks to you Hussein, I’m worried for the lives of me and my loved ones…for the first time in almost 8 years.
P.S. ‘Gun Show’ in my city this weekend…gonna beg or borrow (never steal…that’s the “Chicago Way”) the money to buy my first gun since I was 14. (42 years ago).

Nadler has been over the years one of the most corrupt members of congress. He is famous for stating over and over in one form or another that the people of the US are not smart enough to know what should be done and the should be left to the geniuses in congress. He should have been booted out years ago. It is the same old story. People in his district know they can put their hands out and he will fill them…. so they keep electing him

Are you making the distinction between vote fraud and registration fraud? Both are illegal, of course, but registration fraud is pretty small pickings.

I heard that Indiana is investigating ACORN here. I don’t know if anything will come of it, but I am sure it can be linked to ACORN activities over in Illinois. There is evidence if the Democrats choose to see it.

Wait a minute….didn’t our President used to work for ACORN? Something’s fishy here…..
Youngs98 on March 27, 2009 at 6:06 PM
Personally, I don’t believe that crap for a minute. Conyers is the archtype black ‘liberals do no wrong’ democrat. It was just a show, folks; nothing more. He was just trying to make the democrats look like they have some concept of honor and fairness, when, in fact, most democrats are absolutely lacking in both. Conyers is one of the bigggest crooks in the bunch, and thoroughly lacking in any semblance of honor. Oh, and to the liberal trolls Hotair let in here: I’m just as black as Conyers, and I am a die-hard, Christian Right, ‘ultra’-Conservative, Reagonite Republican veteran of the US Army Military Police Corps, so STFU.

Not only did Obama work for ACORN, he got very testy and defensive (as did his supporters) when people laughed at somebody actually citing a stint as a “Community Organizer” on their resume.
Nothing to see here folks … move along.

Best part? They are being contracted to help with the US census and were slated to recieve several billion from prokulus 1. Now, whether it was pulled or not depends on a careful review of the bill. Of course, it never got a careful review before it was voted on, did it?

How is gathering registrations by someone other than an election official legal?
- The Cat
P.S. It is my awesome opinion that this is not about voter fraud as much as it’s about government funding fraud. Their grants are tied to performance. Performance = Numbers.
MirCat on March 27, 2009 at 7:17 PM
P.P.S. Would it be a good idea for the GOP to support Conyers in this or is his call for a hearing smoke and mirrors?

Nadler is a communist. He is a member of the communist progressive caucus.
I saw him last October in Boca speak at the synagogue. This communist pig had the audacity to lie to the Jewish people who questioned 0bama sitting in Rev. Wright`s church for 20 years. Comrade Nadler tried to tell them that when 0bama first moved to Chicago he went to Wright`s church to get to know people because he wanted to run for public office. Then he didn`t know how to leave because he would have hurt Wright`s feelings. I wanted to throw up. He`s nothing but a fat, lying Communist P-I-G!

John Conyers sees fraud and abuse every time he looks at his ghetto-wife. Maybe he just snapped due to the overload.
As for Nadler, he and his ilk are intentionally destroying the greatest nation in history and are working tirelessly to turn it into something unrecognizable. When is enough enough?
He is a monster and needs to be confronted.

Unfortunately, Obama’s stint as a community organizer is paying off as he uses the latest technology to communicate with his peeps. He has organized a well-oiled machine from the grassroots up to promote his agenda.
