The first year of Bush’s tenure there was virtually no deficit, then came 9/11 and the war.

The deficit went up and then levelled off in 2004. It began to decline. When the Democrats took control of the Congress it was down to $160 billion.

After Pelosi and Reid came along, it skyrocketed. That is just a fact.

So true, yet like seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time, I find the blindness of the ObamaBots to be astounding [and a bit frightening].

Every time I encounter stupidity at that level it reminds me that the publick skool system has to go.

I am amazed at how people still don’t get it after seeing a graph.

In a blink of an eye, the U.S. dollar has collapsed against the Euro, Japanese Yen and other major currencies. The trigger was comments from Tim Geithner who said that the U.S. is “quite open” to China’s suggestion of moving towards a Special Drawing Right (SDR) linked currency system.

Perhaps word came down from the closet leader of the Democrat Party …

That is the fatal flaw of the Congress today, is we forget that sacred oath of office that says: We will protect and defend the Constitution which says this Federal Government has a very limited function. And those functions that are not prescribed in the Constitution are left to individuals and to the States.
This is a huge well-intended mistake we are making. It serves a point that we need to realize this Government needs to stop spending and stop borrowing, stop taxing, and let America work.

With the disaster of democrats running Washington today this message will resonate for a decade. Sleep well, ObamaBots. Sleep well.

And the reason it’s hard is because we’ve accumulated a structural deficit that’s going to take a long time, and we’re not going to be able to do it next year or the year after or three years from now. What we have to do is bend the curve on these deficit projections. And the best way for us to do that is to reduce health care costs. That’s not just my opinion. That’s the opinion of almost every single person who has looked at our long-term fiscal situation.

Let’s see. We have this gigantic deficit because of financial mismanagement by Fannie and Freddie and Dodd and Skank and AIG and Lehman and Johnson and Pritzker so we need to control health care costs.

Obama really thinks Americans are idiots and I guess 52% are.

The deficits will be addressed in his second term.

Wishful thinking. I hope we are not creating the deficit now so that we can address that during the 2nd term. If we know how, why not in this term?
