Titanous Alarming Karp Edifice.

That is the fatal flaw of the Congress today, is we forget that sacred oath of office that says: We will protect and defend the Constitution which says this Federal Government has a very limited function. And those functions that are not prescribed in the Constitution are left to individuals and to the States.
This is a huge well-intended mistake we are making. It serves a point that we need to realize this Government needs to stop spending and stop borrowing, stop taxing, and let America work.

How is that for a GOP message? I would say it is perfect!

He’s a great American and a true conservative!

Let the American people decide what constitutes a worthy charity, then give them a tax incentive to give to whatever they choose, rather than forcing them to give to something they might not support.

Why doesn’t somebody circulate a petition to make DeMint our Senate Minority Leader, or at least Minority Whip? He’s probably the best Senator we’ve got, even if his experience is rather short.

Somehow I don’t think ACORN needs my money more than whatever I wanted it to go to.

Oh – and I love that we’re spending $6 billion on volunteer service. Um – don’t volunteers work for free? And how does SERVEing stimulate the economy? If a bunch of free labor builds a house, is that better than if PAID builders build it?

This bill also has a section that integrates this service with a national database for employment eligibility. I wonder if this will mean that you are not eligible for employment without some sort of service to the government. I’ll have to research this.

Nonetheless this is a stealth bill and very dangerous. It is a precursor or the foundation for the Civilian National Defense Force that Obama promised during the campaign. Further centralizing government, these National Police will answer only to the President, much like the military.

You’d think so, although the military draft was presumably constitutional. A few more lefties on SCOTUS, and this could be “essential” to the common defense.

Maybe I’ll move to SC!
