Glenn Beck to Megyn Kelly: Don’t you think the left is terrified of Palin?
posted at 9:35 pm on March 25, 2009 by Allahpundit
“They know where America is sitting,” says Beck of the ‘Cuda’s lefty persecutors, theorizing that she’s a clear and present danger to their hold on government in this political climate. Maybe so down the road, but where America is sitting as of last week is Obama 55, Palin 35. Another $5 trillion in bailouts and stimulus, though, and who knows?
Anyway, something here for those who find Greta’s pieces on Palin too hard-hitting. I was wrong, incidentally, in what I said earlier about the Rush/Levin interview. That’s not the reddest red-meat video ever. This is.

Let me enlightened you about Obama’s experience
1) As a State Senator of Illinois , he never crafted a bill of his own . His patron , State Senator Emil Jones , provided him with passable bills that were crafted by other IL state senators and thru his influence , had Obama’s name to be the lead senator in crafting the bill when it was passed into law . Most of the time , he just voted present .
2)As the Distinguished Junior Senator of Illinois , he piggybacked himself to fame during the 2004 Presidential Election . Beyond that , he never was active in the committees you listed . He used those committees as his presidential platform even though he never exerted his influence in those committees unless the press wanted him to be .
3) Professional experience . As a lecturer and Senior Lecturer of Constitutional law at the University of Chicago , he never distinguished himself . In fact , he never submitted papers for peer review and he never once participated in impromptu debates of Conservative and Liberal professors that happened often in the university dining halls . And both sides knew him as intelligent , but the thing they remembered about him was he never brought himself up for public scrutiny .
During his tenure as President of the Harvard Law Review , what had he done ? Could somebody point out his published arguments or his editorials ? Surely , people would remember his flowery prose in regards to the state of the Constitution and it’s laws ? Or was he elected there because of his color and the people behind the Harvard Law Review had somebody doing the real work because they found out that Obama couldn’t cut it .
Ah yes , the Chicago Annenberg Challenge , where the money that were supposed to be spend in improving Chicago’s public schools and it’s students , specifically , Chicago’s poor students went into naught because most of the money was diverted by the directors themselves to fund their pet projects that had nothing to do with education .
As an Attorney , he would had made a name for himself if he participated in trial cases in which he is an active lawyer , not a lawyer who only appears in front of the camera . Besides , if he was a good practicing lawyer , he wouldn’t need his teleprompter in public speaking .
Pardon my French , Poptech , but the only work he ever participated in the real world was being a lecturer and Senior lecturer at University Of Chicago , the rest even his stint as attorney were just window dressing , full of fluff but no substance .
4) His education ? Honestly , what is good for goose is good for the gander . If we can forced American universities to released the grades of all our politicians , by hook or by crook , why could we not see his grades from Columbia ?? Let’s be real here , if Sarah Palin’s grades can be revealed without her consent , why could Obama’s ?? Is it because his grades wasn’t that good he proclaimed it to be and his friends in Academia are afraid that the current president was a product of educational fraud ??
PopTech , from his resume , I would not honestly hire him in any position with the exception of an entry level job . If you watch Band of Brothers , he is the equivalent of Norman Dike , a man promoted or in his ( Obama’s) case elected beyond his expertise and experience . He is an over hyped media creation , he had no business running the country .

1. Her statement on cap and trade, and being for it

Liberals are afraid of Governor Palin because she is unelectable; and they’re afraid of Glenn Beck because his ratings are too low.
Can you imagine how completely uninterested the moonbats would be in seeing them both on the same show? They’d be so calm, cool and collected about it that their heads would spin off.

Let’s face facts GOPers. The fact is Palin presents a real danger to the Liberal Socialists that are destroying America today. The proof lays [lies?]in the constant attacks against her by both the leftists, and the GOP ‘moderate’ insiders.
Name the only state that ZERO bailouts of their major banks. Name any other possible GOP POTUS candidate who is being attacked even half as much today. Forget the Dabama/Palin polls as too many Americans are still drunk on the kool-aid. Show me any republican with approval ratings as high as hers is in her state after 4 years of governance. When you can’t you will realise that Palin is the future of the Republican Party … if it has one at all.

Ah, Poptroll, even padding Obama’s “resume” with all the “member” of this and “[member of] board of directors” of that, you still can’t make him look all that good. He was supposed to be a law professor, but you won’t find any research he ever published. He was supposed to be president of the Harvard Law Review, but may be the only one to hold that position who never published anything, ever.
He was an Illinois state senator, who voted “present” over and over again. Real profile in courage, there. He was a U.S. Senator, who spent most of his time running for president. When the current economic crisis was brewing, what did Obama do? The most he could claim was that he wrote a letter to the Bush administration about the concern that some people could face foreclosure. But as one of only a hundred senators in the country, you’d think he would have introduced some legislation, or co-sponsored legislation, to do something about the FNMA/FRMC bubble.
When you get to what he’s actually done, his resume is even thinner than the fluff you posted.

No she won’t Pop. You still don’t recognize a good woman who is in fact on your side. You just are stubborn and don’t see it yet. You’ll come around but it will take you much longer it appears than it took many of us.
This woman knows that you don’t tax an economy into prosperity. She is very pro-business, but not if that business is corrupting the politicians. She also is a big proponent of competition.
Keep working at it. And if you don’t come on board before she is POTUS, we’ll be waiting for you like the father of the prodigal son.
And when the day comes that you admit that you were wrong about Sarah, we are not goin to say “See I told you so idiot.”
No. We’ll say “Welcome Pop to the movement. We are happy to have you on our side.” And then we’ll all have ‘a servant’s heart’ as we valiantly fight the Dem machine.
Sapwolf on March 25, 2009 at 11:39 PM
Finally a rational position!
1. I brought up her Carbon Capping comment forever and not ONE person has found a response from her disproving it. Now what does that tell you? She clearly supports it. Which makes all here rhetoric about the polar bears ect… irrelevant. I don’t care if she thinks Al Gore is a real scientist, what matters is what she is going to do.
2. There are many positions to question this, noticeably her political posturing…
Palin touts stance on ‘Bridge to Nowhere,’ doesn’t note flip-flop (Anchorage Daily News)
ADN: “Would you continue state funding for the proposed Knik Arm and Gravina Island bridges?”
PALIN: “Yes.”
The fact that she campaigned as the great crusader who took out this pork barrel project, when she campaigned to have it built while running for governor proves she is not who people think she is.

Yes and no on Buffet, he is shrewd but look back at the original propositions Buffet helped Arnold propose when he was first elected, all were good stuff but they all got shot down, Arnold then became Mr. Moderate.
As for Forbes, no one gave me that choice, I would clearly take him above all those. But I feel Buffet and Gates would still be better for the economy than Palin or Obama. Again there are much better choices, Forbes is one.

Were Romney to win the Republican nomination, it is doubtful that Fabio would vote for him, but if he did, that would be the absolute kiss of death. He will only respond to your attempts to refute his garbage with more retread garbage that has been refuted over and over and over: good example being that Palin believes the Global Warming hype — there have been multiple posts quoting her on this and there is no ambiguity on her position. Random Numbers (Brian Epps) on March 26, 2009 at 12:59 AM
That is funny as hell. But the nomination is serious business and qualifications matter not selecting someone “dumb like you” so you can feel like you have something in common with the nominee, huck, huck.

1. 1 former and one sitting president have admitted to pot use.
2. Why is a daughter having a child a scandal? Sarah didn’t have the child.
3. Palin’s fiscal record is squeaky clean compared to Mittens Romney and his governance of the state of Mass.
Special Award you keep leaving off Romney’s record. He made #8 on Human’s events Top 10 Rinos List.

Poptech-
Abortion issues- Romney campaigned for Governor of Massachusetts as a pro-choice candidate, and was endorsed by a pro-abortion political group.
“Romney ran against Senator Edward M. Kennedy in 1994. During a debate, Romney declared: ‘I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country. I have since the time that my mom took that position when she ran in 1970 as a US Senate candidate. I believe that since Roe v. Wade has been the law for 20 years we should sustain and support it.’ “(NOTE: Romney has supported abortion since before the 1972 Roe v. Wade ruling!)

Romney’s campaign distributed pro-gay rights campaign literature during Boston’s “Gay Pride” events
The annual “Gay Pride” events in Boston, as in other cities across the country, regularly feature obscene and degrading floats, handouts, and activities:
“During his 2002 gubernatorial run his campaign distributed bright pink flyers during Pride that declared ‘Mitt and Kerry [running mate Kerry Healey] wish you a great Pride weekend! All citizens deserve equal rights, regardless of their sexual preference.’ Romney also argued that he would not only support gay friendly policies but would fight on behalf of the gay community to secure benefits such as domestic partner benefits and hospital visitation rights for same-sex couples.”

You’re right. He had to operate with his hands tied at all times by the lib bureaucrats…er…hacks. So he really should have known that a healthcare system like that was destined to be a disaster in a state like this. It just will always be a questionable policy, attached to his record, that won’t serve him well in 2012.
And I like Mitt. I think he would have been an admirable choice over McCain or Huckabee. I think he can be a strong voice moving forward. As the choice for ’12 though, I’m not so confident.

Romney advocates homosexual couples’ adoption rights be recognized by the government
“There will be children born to same-sex couples, and adopted by same-sax couples, and I believe that there should be rights and privileges associated with those unions and with the children that are part of those unions.” On another occasion, his spokesman “declined to state Romney’s position on whether homosexual couples should be allowed to adopt, and declined to say whether the governor opposes gay adoptions.”
