I was raised a Christian, but I was raised open-minded Christian — one to accept people, love people, not pass judgment.
You keep talking like that, missy, and you’re going to elbow KP aside as my designated left-wing crush. Skip ahead to 1:50 for her take on Rush’s “I want him to fail” comment or to 4:30 for her position on abortion and gay marriage. Am I mistaken or does she blank on what King means when he asks her about “choice”? Exit admonition: I told the Twitterites a little while ago that I have utmost confidence in HA’s readers taking the high road and not resorting to fat jokes in the comments. Don’t let me down!

I was in a band (PLUG: CD now available at Amazon.com – Nothing But Sky) and we have a song (written by another guy) about TV Evangelists. He didn’t have a name so I “borrowed” from Steve and we called it (shortened) “Guilt By Association” (Track 2!!).
We were not a Christian band, but we were safe. One openly Christian song I wrote in the band right after my conversion made the collection (“Don’t Worry Anymore”). Steve was a great inspiration when I went solo.

Evasive would be avoiding the question, or trying to mislead by answering a different question from the one you asked.
Despite the anonymous screeds from people claiming to be service members past and present (while claiming now is the time to abandon the military to the obots), I clearly responded to the question.
Without giving my name none of you keybored warriors would believe me anyway, and since I would never be so arrogant as to think service claims would bolster my argument, and never be so dumb as to post my name on a site where extremists I disagree with are calling for a coup and revolution I REFUSED to answer. I did not evade.

With regards to her weight, I’ll only say that she’s plump in all the right places. I happen to like women with curves, and her body curves nicely. Unfortunately, what passes for her brain has crossed the event horizon between thoughtful and just plain stupid. From this condition, there is no mistake.

MM just wants the attention she’s getting from being a RINO. She’s a Democrat, but if she switches and says, “Yeah, I’m a liberal Democrat”, she is just one of millions and no one in the media is going to care what she has to say. I agree. That stuff was classic and timeless. It didn’t matter who it was about. It was creative and smart. . . something Megan isn’t. It should be celebrated and archived for anyone EVER wanting a fat joke. There were hundreds all unique all awesome. . . and it didn’t matter to me that they were about her – they were funny. I bet even Megan would have laughed at a lot of them.
I actually was hoping to be able to access some of them for future reference. They really need to be documented somewhere. I had assumed that cs was reading them off of a list from somewhere. . . but I wish I could access a list like that.

Anyone remember that after the election McCain’s campaign was leaking rumors to the media about Palin? Diva, uninformed, etc. Then one by one every rumor was disproved and one by one every one from the McCain campaign denied responsibility. Then little Meghan says, “No comment,” when asked about Palin. I think we found the leaker. I want one of these interviewers to start asking her about Palin.

Meghan McCain is a beautiful young lady.
She is Republican merely by blood. Her problem is not her politics but that here party affiliation does not jive with her politics. She is incorrectly railing against Conservative Classically Liberal Christian Republicans. She would do much more good in the Democrat Party railing against them for their lack of patriotism and the other few things she may disagree with the platform about.

It really does not matter what MM thinks or what we think. It comes down to what God says is His standard and what we will be judged against.
I don’t judge — that’s God’s job, but as a Christian I am to discern. He says we will know them by their fruits. That doesn’t mean we are sinless. It means to assess patterns over time. Is one striving for holiness according to God’s standard or not?
Just because someone professes to be a Christian does not make them one. Even the demons believe. There will be many who say, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and…” and he will say, “Depart from me. I never knew you.”
Bottom line: MM is a liberal trying to hijack the party. She is like the pig in Animal Farm redefining words. She can call herself a conservative all day long but that is NOT what she is. And if this is what the party becomes, I guess I’ll have to vote 3rd party. We’ve already tried her route (Bush, then McCain). How’s that working our for us?
